“First and last visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

We went for a romantic dinner after the beach and we found this place using Urban Spoon recommendations. Now here is our review:
This place is located in a nice place, hard to find but it has good ambience and average service now the problem is with the quality of the food and the price.
The food is terrible and price incredible high for Texas restaurants
We order a Mahi-Mahi sandwich $18.00 and the Mahi was dry, the plate came with wasabi, ginger and a burned jalapeño. Also we ordered a Barateria pizza recommended by the server as real Italian pizza, and the pizza dough was also hard an dry, the pizza had some little pieces of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and fine cutter basil ( you don't cut a basil with a knife) that looks like spinach and a lot of ground meat that suppose to be Italian sausage.
We will never recommend this restaurant to anybody
The big problem here is the relation btw price and quality of the food

“Worth the time and the price”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

Finally something to eat in Port A. After chowing on various tourist fried mysteries we have found a true gourmet restaurant. Flawless service, presentations and food. Yes, good bread can be found in America!

“To die for!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

My boyfriend and I have a boat at moorings, and while we are here we visit the resturant at least 3 days or more during our trip. The food is to die for and always fresh. In the past we were annoyed with a certain member of the staff but that has all been changed and we enjoy our experience more than ever. James is a wonderful bartender/ waiter. We've even welcomed him into our home in Fort Worth. Brunch is my boyfriends favorite meal. Drinks are made with her own recipes and a large selection of wine. They've even accommodated the liquor we prefer. Sushi grade mahi mahi and tuna would have to be my favorite. I would say if you are a picky eater don't come here. Every dish is unique and very good and fresh! We often try to copy cat her food at home but fail tremendously. Thank you Leslie for your wonderful food!

“Great Food, Not So Great Atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

It was 4th of July weekend so we made reservations two wks in advance. We called the morning of the reservation to verify and to request indoors since it was a warm day. When we arrived they did not have are reservation request to be indoors. We were a party of 6 seated at a very small table in the pathway with tall rickety chairs. (There were empty tables but they would not seat us there)You expect if a meal that was going to cost over $100 per couple you would have better seating and something besides beach towels and bath washcloths for napkins and linens. The inside of the restaurant was very warm until the sun went down. The food was excellent even if it did take well over an hour to be served. At the end of the meal the waitress would not split the check by couples which would have been nice to know ahead of time.
