I believe the Port Aransas, Texas beaches are some of the nicest beaches. You can drive on them and and park on them.. The sand is very, very fine but beautiful. You can even find shells that have washed up on the shore. They have portable potties all along the beach line, and they clean them every morning and put in fresh toliet paper in them. The locals walk them every morning to find these lava type rocks, which you too can find all along the beach. You do need to watch for jelly fish, I didn't see many and none in the water, but one day I did find a few one day in just one section of the beach. Not being real familar on the jelly fish I want to give you a few tips for your kids. If they see an blue and I mean a beautiful blue and they look like a small balloon, clear(but blue clear) do not touch this is the portugese man o war and will hurt you bad. I would like to save you some money by letting you know to stop at a store (almost any store) purchase a beach tag and put on your car like your tags, but on the passenger side bottom of windshield. I think it was $14 and it will save you $150 ticket on the beach should you stop for any reason. Happy Beaching!!!
