“Very Functional”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

Hotel overall is good to great for a business travelers. Breakfast options are not the best. If breakfast were corrected, this would be a great option to stay. The room is very functional and provides all the amenities you want including a working fridge and microwave.

Another quick trip, at the hotel less than 7 hours and asleep most of those. Check-in and check-out were very efficient, and the staff was helpful (as usual with Hampton). The location of the hotel provides quick access to a number of amenities, particularly printing (office depot and fedex office) and places to grab breakfast for your client meeting.

We were traveling through in order to send my daughter off to Georgia by bus. We booked at this hotel last minute and were leaving at 3:00am the following morning. We ended up leaving and seeing our daughter off but turned around and went back to the hotel to rest up and enjoy the breakfast. The hotel is positioned in a great area and has very friendly staff.

I was very pleased and enjoyed my stay here. It was near a main intersection, close to shopping dining and entertainment. The front desk was prompt when i checked in and it only took less than 5 minutes to get checked in. Later that evening when I requested an additional key the clerk was quick to ask for my information and made an additional key for me. It was for the most part quiet and the room temperature when i walked in was perfect.

Room Tip: Third floor overseeing the pool was very nice and had a good view of the main street where the shopp...

What should have been a standard stay at a Hampton, turned very bad because of poor staff training at this property. When I checked into the room around 2 PM, it looked clean except on one wall there was a wadded up ball of wet toilet paper! I left the hotel soon, and asked the front desk to send someone to clean it up, as surely the maids had missed it. When I returned to the hotel later that night, the wall was clean, but I found that the door to my room had been left propped open. After making sure that their was no one there, I called down to the desk to let them know what happened, and also to make sure no one was coming back, and the front desk girl informed me in a curt tone that no one on her staff would do that. I asked who did then, as I hadn't been there since the cleaning staff came back, and she had no response.

Later that night, I ran out to my car to grab my phone and accidentally left the room key in the room. I told front desk that I was locked out. Without asking my name or asking for ID, she asked which room number, and made me a key. I could have said any number in the hotel and been given access!!

While the bones of this hotel are generally clean and pleasant looking, I will definitely not be returning due to the completely incompetent staff, and could not recommend to anyone else.

Booked this hotel at a very attractive rate. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is located just north of the Bush near Preston Road. Room was clean and comfortable. Bath had adequate but limited counter space. Bathroom was well stocked with toiletries and towels. Breakfast was the usual Hampton Inn Bfast. A little sparse for my taste. Good value. Will probably stay there again.

Stayed here for a week while in town for business. The location was excellent and the hospital I was working at was maybe 3 minutes away. The hotel seemed to be pretty noisy.. I did have noisy neighbors, but also the noises in the hallway each morning were distracting. The room and hotel seemed to be very clean. There were a few days the temp outside was in the 70's and I wish they would have unlocked the gate to get into the pool area. Not to swim, but just to relax in the chairs would have been nice. The breakfast was typical of other Hampton's.. decent.
