“Homeade Italian”

All food is fresh and tasty. Their pizzas are great with lots of ingredients, and lazagna and breads are outstanding.

“Sadly, Luigi's in Pittsburg is now closed.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2012

Luigi's was a wonderful place to eat. They had excellent Chicken or Veal Marsala, and my husband always had them make him a special seafood/pasta dish. I also frequently had the Dama Bianca, and my daughter liked the Fettucine Alfredo. For this area, it was a nice restaurant with good atmosphere and reasonable prices. The rolls they served were always a temptation.

Sadly, Luigi's is no longer open in Pittsburg. We really miss it. They closed several months ago, but there IS a Luigi's in nearby Mt. Pleasant. We have not had the opportunity to eat there, but judging by the crowded parking lot, apparently the food at this other location is good. I would certainly give it a try.

The food is very good. I always order the lobster ravioli---a great flavor and large serving.

“Luigis has lots of great seafood, veal, and pasta dishes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2011

Luigis has lots of great seafood, veal, and pasta dishes. The restaurant is appealing for entertaining business travelers, quicky work lunches, family meals, and large parties. The prices are reasonable with a yummy variety of $6.95 lunch specials. The wait staff have been very friendly and competent when we've visited. Some of our favorite dishes include the Tortellini Siciliano, Pasta Sampler, and Manicotti. You can bring your own bottle of wine if desired, which we have done on one special occasion. Finish your meal with an Italian Canoli, Tiramisu, or our favorite Triple Chocolate Cheesecake. My only complaint about the restaurant was about their appetizers. The selection of appetizers is lacking and portions are very small for the price. We eat at Luigis quite often and love it! We recommend you try it.
