“Very Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

Hotel is fairly new rooms were clean, beds were good, parking was good. Close to shopping with a Cosco next door, easy access to highway. Front desk staff was OK, maybe a little under experienced but did not bother us. Cleaning staff very friendly. Two other rooms were rented by other family members did not hear of any complaints from them. Will stay there again.

Truly Hotel H*ll, the management should be ashamed of itself, except it clearly has no shame. No refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms; no cups or Kleenex in the room until asked for; 45-minute wait for an extra blanket; useless, in-room coffee maker with no supplies to make coffee; the worst, cheapest, most G-d awful toilet-paper imaginable; in-room chairs are the most uncomfortable, nightmarish design conceivable and there is nothing else in the whole hotel; sparse, under-furnished rooms; not one roll-away bed in the entire place although they advertise that they have them; one crib for the whole facility with no crib sheets, they tell you they don't use the crib much and give you a queen-sized sheet for your baby; insufficient supply of hot water when the hotel is full, be prepared for it to run out; noise travels unimpeded throughout the entire place and the bathroom fan is deafening. Rude chief front desk clerk; absentee, hands-off manager who is either "not in yet" or "just stepped out" and never returns calls from guests (we're told her name is Ms. Lopez, stay away as long as she still runs the place, because the only thing she appears to be interested in is providing absolute minimum service at absolute maximum price); refused even a request for a plain white envelope at the front desk, they claim they don't have any. Front desk clerk refused to provide name and professed an inability to spell her own name when the first name was finally dragged out of her, literally told guest to come down and read her name tag at the front desk if they wanted it. No one at the front desk half the time, and if you complain about the horrendous service they'll try to kick you out into the street. One poor, overworked housekeeper on duty for the entire hotel on a sold-out weekend. Don't bother complaining to Travelodge corporate HQ, they're nice and sympathetic, and they'll agree with the thrust of your complaint, but tell you they have no control over an independent franchise after you spend a half-hour on the phone with them. They'll also tell you that management has the right to refuse to provide service for any reason, at least until you remind them that we have anti-discrimination laws in this country. Rotten breakfast - no eggs, no yogurt, no waffles, white bread and bad white bagels with a lousy selection of cereal only, perhaps a muffin or a piece of fruit on a good day if you're lucky, they obviously have no real kitchen facilities and aren't interested in getting any. Fairly run-down for a two-year-old establishment. Although there are some decent, dedicated, and caring employees who will offer apologies for the shortcomings of the place, with management like this, avoid this hotel at all costs if you value your sanity. If Travelodge had an ounce of sense, they'd pull the franchise, because this guest will never stay at another Travelodge again, and plainly, others feel the same way.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel.

This manager cares only about how much money she can charge per room, staff is rude an unprofessional, they think that giving you a good rate entitles them to disrespect you. I would only recommend it for a one night stay. It's clean and free of smells

Although this is a fairly new building, the walls seemed to be paper-thin and noise passed from room to room very easily. We could even hear the guy next door snoring like he was in our own room. We were on the main floor. People came in to the room above us late at night and there was nothing but footsteps and bumping. We have never been a motel that was so noisy! It was very difficult to sleep.
