We stayed here because, while it was quite expensive, we'd been driving for ages that day, and it was cheaper than all the other places we looked at. Pecos is a crummy town with vastly inflated hotel prices - presumably due to all the oil contractors... and this motel really sucked. There is some sort of bar with really loud music until late preventing sleep - but actually once the music stopped I was sad it did because then I could hear cockroaches scratching around. And the hot breakfast was extremely unappealing. Should have driven on through the night.
