Room was spacious, clean and well decorated. There were two sinks that helps when there are more than two people. Breakfast was excellent and the lounge was decorated beautifully. Experience was better than the stay in Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas.

Huge room, large selection of yummy breakfast food. Bath room vanity is very tiny but there is a larger one in room. Very expensive rates. We had 3 problems with our experience.
1. Our room's balcony opened over the front desk. We had to call the desk and ask for the people to stop being so loud ( it was after midnight). Don't know if it was staff or guest, but they were VERY loud.
2. We were in room 215. It's by the stairs so you hear everyone that uses the stairs.
3. Breakfast seating can be limited if hotel is full.

Overall, we were pleased with our stay just not sure it is worth the price.

This is a difficult place to evaluate. The room was great, very large by motel stsndards and exceptionally clean. Visited during a cold snap. Heat didn't work correctly. Bathroom was miniscule with vanity sink, mirror etc outside of it. The lobby, pool and hot tub aee likewisr excellent. Free breakfast buffet (Most special orders but not all, are extra.) included biscuits and gravy, bacon, fried potatoes, bacon, scrambled eggs, juices, fruits and waffles. The problem: Most of what should have been hot was tepid at best. Good coffee though. You can eat breakfast for free at the resturaunt next foor though. Didn't try it. Problem two: The buffet is crowded to the point that at the six AM starting time you can't find a seat. This is the norm as it's oil country which leads to problem three, price. Be prepared to mortgage your first born child, but to be fair every place in town is expensive and this is the best. So: Five stars for the venue, one for the food, three for the heat problem, one for the price. Averages to a three but still I recommend it.

Nice find in an area where Oil & Gas can be tough on lodging, you wouldn't know it here. This compares very well wth the better BW Plus hotels. The hotel was very clean, updated and the breakfast was a significant step up from typical Best Western Freebie. I would stay here anytime in town

Never seen two Best Westerns side by side but this one is definitely the one to stay in. Very nice rooms. Spacious. If I ever have to stay in Pecos again it will be here. Easy to find and right beside I-20 but very quiet.

really good property. A few minor glitches that would be easy to remedy. Loose robe hook on bathroom door. Toilet ran during the stay. Nice décor. Nice design and layout of hotel. Good breakfast. Quite large and comfortable room. Nice to be able to spread out. vey polite and helpful staff who seemed interested in pleasing their guests. A separate sink in large vanity on guest room in addition to sink in the bath was super. Really comfortable space for a couple. I would stay here again and may be traveling through Pecos often int eh next year.

Due to icy road conditions, we were forced to "hole up" for at least two days in Pecos, Texas at a hotel. After checking out of a less than standard hotel and seeking another one, we lucked out with a room at the Best Western Plus, Swiss Chalet. This hotel exceeds expectations. We had a room in the main building and the furnishings, decor, and all that was provided reached superior status. They have the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced in any hotel. Attention has been paid to details in every way. A tribute is due to the owner, who visits the hotel frequently to ensure that this level of quality is maintained. The front desk staff needs to make known exactly which rooms are available and not make those decisions by themselves. It is only that the owner intervened and pointed me to the available room in the main building that I received this. He and his family are to be commended for the superlative job in designing, furnishing and providing this facility. It is outstanding, and I would only wish that he had more hotels---and in more states---as the quality that he has sought to provide is superior.
