Have eaten at a couple of other TRH locations over the years, & it's always been "okay". Nothing outstanding, but nothing horrible either. Tried the Pasadena location for the first time last weekend, & we were very pleased! Had to wait for a table, so had a drink at the bar. Good service, very friendly. Seated promptly, & service was again friendly & attentive.
Bread basket is good, as others have said (Mmm, the butter!). We also tried the chili, which blew us away! Very good!!! We both had a Ceasar salad- good dressing & nice balance of ingredients. Hubs had the "big" steak (biggest one, I forget what it was)- Perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, but not the best cut. He knew this before ordering & got it anyway, so he was happy with how it turned out. I ordered the ribs, & they were awesome! We also both had the loaded baked potatoes, & they were done well too- crispy skins & totally loaded up! We both took home leftovers, which is rare...
We will be back- it's nice to have TRH as a close to home option! Reasonable prices, good service, & surprisingly good food... Not bad at all!
