Clean, friendly and caring. Beautiful setting right on Lake Livingston. Easy in and out. Beautiful pool. The hot tub needed a little sprucing but that may have been done by now. Boat storage and launch. Fishing and lake swimming. Dog friendly and dog run provided.

Camping at Onalaska KOA has become a tradition for our family. Once a year, staycation--not far from Houston. We usually have a big group, so the pavilion is perfect for large parties. Waterfront sites, beachy lake front make for a great day to play and chill in the water. Volleyball court and plenty of room for washers/horseshoes. Facilities always clean! Friendly, professional staff. Close to great restaurants. Our family will continue to choose this campground for our weekend getaway!

We stayed at Onalaska, Texas KOA Dec.2013 thru the middle of Feb. 2014.
The campground. is beautiful, hilly and right on Lake Livingston. Beautiful sunsets,
Can walk down to the lake and catch a catfish. Less than a mile to the grocery store and gas. Nice friendly staff, clean restrooms and laundry.Nice dog run .
Weather could have been better, other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 6 nights in a tent with my family. Onalaska is a great little town with great people.

Being from the Austin area we were looking for an alernative to our drought affected lakes and the coast.

The staff was very nice more than helpful to us. Grounds were very well kept, especially for a lsrger park. I've seen reviews complaining of fire ants but i found them to b very minimal and did not affect our stay.

Park was very family friendly, neighbors were friendly and kids had great time playing with other children.

Last but not least, GREAT VIEW AND LOCATION!!!! Loved view of sun setting over the pines that lined the horizon over the lake. Grocery store just up the road to stock up on supplies.

Never been big on Koa's but plan to stay at koa Onalaska again as soon as possible.

What a beautiful setting. Very nice campground and very friendly people running it. Really enjoyed our Thanksgiving spent here. The sunset from the campsites is really beautiful over the lake. They have a really nice restaurant with a nice patio where you can sit outside during warm weather. There is also a boat launch if you need one.

My only problem with this location was with my last stay. We were overrun with ants. Couldn't keep up with them they were so bad. Restrooms by office were dirty. Staff is very friendly and I would stay again.

Great KOA on the lake in Texas. Clean facilities, nice beach, and wonderful staff. Stayed in a deluxe cabin that was well maintained and well furnished. The grandchildren love the pool and the fishing. Will return again.
