It almost pains me to write this, because this place holds dear memories for my family, but this is the second year in a row where we feel like we're sacrificing good food for the view.
The jalapeño poppers that we got as an appetizer were a nice start, but everything else was tasteless. The chicken fried chicken was a disappointment, as was the sirloin salad. The bad thing is, after last year's bland hamburgers I had to beg my husband to go back. Let's just say I won't be winning that battle again.
I hate to be the lone dissenter, but until they revamp the menu, we'll be checking out the competition, or just hitting the restaurant for apps and drinks.
