“Overpriced Special Occasion Place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Drove from San Antonio to celebrate friends' anniversary last weekend. Our table was near the bar area and was extremely noisy until all the happy hour people left. Our steaks were deliciously tender and very large. For $45 it very well should be. The side dishes are all ala carte and very large portions which can easily be shared between 2 people. We ordered spinach au gratin which turned out to be nothing more than creamed spinach with some cheese melted on top. Very disappointing. The service was impeccable. Because of it's reputation, I had higher expectations, but ended up disappointed overall. Will not go again.

“Great service/food mediocre at best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

We decided to try this place after the Wein and Saengerfest this past weekend because it was within walking distance from our parked vehicle. We should have gone elsewhere. Although the service was impeccable, my steak had an old taste to it that reminded me of liver. I was very dissatisfied. My husband's tuna (which he requested well done) was black and burned on one side. The creamed spinach was heavy on the sauce and the spinach was over cooked. The only bright spot to the meal was the chocolate cake served warm with a wonderful dark icing. The meal was very expensive and we were both unhappy. Will never eat there again, too many other reliable restaurants in New Braunfels and nearby Gruene!

“Yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Myron's is a fabulous restaurant for that special occasion! Steaks can be cut with a knife and sides are all quite yummy! We always split an entree and order sides since orders are large.

“FINE Dining!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

I've eaten at Myron's two times and both times it has been an absolute pleasure. The service is impeccable, the food is incredible and the ambiance is comfortable. This is a top notch restaurant and a definite return frequently is in order! highly recommended.

“New Braunfels Upgrades through History and Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

Myron's is part of the "New Face" of New Braunfels, Texas. The location is great...downtown it was Ma's Cafe, an old German Gathering Place for generations. The locals enjoy the memories of Ma's and Myron's...they go hand in hand. Ma's son, Shimel Bloodworth, was a Drummer for the 7 Dutchmen and Myron we all know was an International "Squeezebox" Player on Lawrence Welk and features for decades at "Wurstfest". Today, some of the best food is still served at the locaton. The presentation is worthy of a 5 star Restaurant in any Major US City. The steaks are grilled to perfection, while there are other entrees' on the menu. Enjoy!!! A new local favorite with a new flavor of Old New Braunfels. Served with sophication and a smile!!!
