We went to the Wurstfest at New Braunfels and stayed at this hotel for two nights, Friday and Saturday evening.

The hotel is on the 35 service road, easy to find and get to. Its convenient to many restaurants, including the world's largest convenient store, Buckees, across the road (visit it, its fun).

The hotel has a small pool, which may explain one reviewer's discussion of damp rooms, as I did NOT experience this, I found the room extremely pleasant. The room was spacious and comfortable with dorm fridge and microwave, flat screen TV. Room and bathroom were very clean, as was the entire property. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Thermostat worked well and room was kept at right temperature without being noisy. The hotel was full due to people visiting Wurstfest, but I never saw any trash in either the parking lot or in the hotel. The rooms are quiet for a reasonable price hotel room. Our room was on an upper floor overlooking the parking lot, I don't recall hearing any noise, although the shuttles were dropping people off all evening long. I could hear the couple next door walk past our door and then open their door, and after than, nothing.

The only reason I am giving this property four stars is their breakfast, typical continental but no meat. We travel frequently, and its rare to find a hotel now that does not offer sausage or links with their continental breakfast. I thought I may be a little harsh in my opinion, but while sitting in the dining area, there were four people sitting at a table next to us complaining that there was no sausage nor bacon available to eat, so I feel justified in knocking down one star.

I would stay at this property again, overall, extremely comfortable for the price.
