“River Road Camp ROCKS!”

We have gone to River Road Camp since I was a kid. The staff is so very helpful. The campsites for tents and RVs are always clean and ours is well shaded. Check-in and check-out is always so well organized. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned several times a day. The river water is cold, but once you get used to it you are fine. It is not too crowded if you go during the week days of peak season. Weekends and Holidays are always crazy.

River Road Camp is the best place to camp or rent your tubes. They gave us our cooler tubes for free! My summer would not be complete without a float down the river!

“To darn cold”

I went to river on July 30 2003 and the river was as cold as ice. If the water was warmer or if you are a polar bear I would recommend checking it out with your own floatation device. Average price for a tube is $11 per person. Another nice bonus is that you can have a beer while rafting, but the people are usually not too rowdy.

Visiting the Guadalupe river was a fun experience. The people there were very helpful, and nice. The campgrounds had enough space and was located next to the river, with bathrooms and showers. They had a little river and springs that would be great for children to play in.
