“Our Girl Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

I can't wait to get back to see Bob & Sherry. Bob is quite a chef! Loved breakfast every morning. They both make you feel right at home. It was so homey and comfortable there too. So close to the wonderful downtown restaurants too. Munzesheimer Manor made our girls trip even better than we thought it would be. We all hated to leave.

Room Tip: We stayed in the upstairs room with a full bed and a twin bed and it was very comfy for two women.

Spending Christmas night at Munzesheimer Manor was an absolute delight. Decorated in beautiful Christmas cheer throughout this beautiful home, I felt welcomed and pampered. Soaking in the clawfoot bathtub with the fireplace beside me, it was the best Christmas evening I could have imagined. Bob and Sherry greeted me the following morning with an outstanding breakfast. I will be back this next Christmas for sure.

Our ladies group took over the place and never have we felt such love and caring at a Bed and Breakfast. Even though it is a wonderful historical place....it was in tip top shape and very clean. No musty smell! Wonderful antiques throughout the entire house and the small touches that made you feel cared for. The breakfast of German pancakes was outstanding. We have visited many a B and B and this one is right up at the top.

Room Tip: The room named after the dentist was my favorite. The cabins are great for privacy.

The Munzesheimer Manor was our denstination...our purpose...relaxation. The cottage room we rented was perfect. Down to our very own rubber duckie for the tub. Bob and Sherry are such gracious hosts, we felt right at home. They sat with us over coffee and we had the best time just enjoying conversation with them. When we arrived, Sherry suggested Kitchen's Hardware for dinner and even made reservations for us. Breakfast included the most delicious German pancakes! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Relaxation? Mission accomplished!

We have been to Munzesheimer Manor 3 times now. We have been to many B&Bs and seldom stay at the same one twice, however, this one is special. Bob and Sherry are the sweetest couple your will ever meet. Some B&Bs we have been to, it is obvious the owner/innkeeper have been in the business too long, like they have kind of checked out as far as making your experience special. Here you feel so welcome, just like you are an old friend. We love the house, their pets, the location - breakfast is always great. We will keep coming back.
