I stayed the previous night at the Comfort Inn Suites Midland. It was a catastrophe. Stayed the 2 night at La Quinta Inn & Suites, the rooms where clean and as expected, the staff was very helpful, the service was great, the food was even better.

Great Job! I look forward to staying there again on my return to Midland.

Other people have mentioned how difficult it is to book a hotel at the last minute in Midland/Odessa and how expensive it is. They are not kidding. Because of the oil industry (as if they haven't jacked up prices enough) I paid $233 a night for this hotel when i booked it a week beforehand, I could not get the TV to work at all the first night. I called the front desk and they told me to unplug it and plug it back in (duh). At 3:30 in the morning the TV finally came on at full volume. Of course i was sound asleep. The hotel was average at best. The room was getting a little beat up. I was staying in the center of the hotel on the second floor and could barely get a wirless signal. This hotel is overpriced by about $150.
