It is one of the cleaner hotels in Midland. The oil field boom has most of the hotels wrapped up so be sure to book as far in advance as you can if coming in during the week. The prices are very high for a Holiday Inn Express and you cannot compare this price to your average city. It is supply and demand in its purest form. I paid $198 + tax for a week night. Yet, the following night (a Friday night stay) was $108. Breakfast is always good there and the rooms are very clean. Housekeeping does a great job. The front desk folks are always friendly and even if it is a little on the pricey side, I keep going back once a quarter because, I know that they will take good care of me while I am there.

Just had an overnight stay in Midland. The hotel is new and has nice furnishings. Close to restaurants and expressway for easy accessibility.The complimentary breakfast
was great and the lady in charge did a fantastic jjob in seeings to everyones needs.

Why are all the rooms in Midland so expensive yet so average? This hotel was very very nice - rated by TA as one of the best in the city and I have to agree. It had all the perks of a newer hotel and was generally excellent. A one night stay, however, far exceeded $200, which is outrageous. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Alpine the following 2 nights for half the price and actually had better service (see review) Next time we fly into Midland, we'll skip the hotel scene completely and drive further south for a far better value.

great place for business travelers on a budget. very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and attentive staff and a location convenient to tons of restaurants, a movie theater and a mall. This isn't the W but if you are shopping for budget hotels, you will be hard pressed to find anything as nice for the money.
