This is the hidden gem in Midland's food scene. We are quickly working our way through the entire menu and everything has been outstanding. Start your meal with the sindhi aloo tikki or lamb samosa appetizers for an authentic taste of Indian food. We really like the chicken tikka masala (masala means many spices - expect many layers of flavor), chicken vinadaloo (spicy curry), and the rogan josh (lamb curry) for our main courses. All of your meat will have been marinated in authentic spices and the sauces, of course, are the show stealers in Indian cuisine. If you're looking for vegetarian options, try the yellow dal or the shahi paneer. They will always adjust the heat of any dish to suit you. We always have a couple of orders of the garlic naan (a traditional Indian flatbread) as well.
Service has always been outstanding. They recognize us and welcome us back! I don't think there has been a time when a member of the family did not come out just to visit. We also have even had food delivered to the house.
The price is more than fair for this very labor-intensive and intricately spiced cuisine. It is the same or less than any of the Indian restaurants we have eaten at in Dallas or Houston. Give yourself a break from bland Tex-Mex and treat yourself to something very special!
