“Great place in Skye - go during the music shows”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

Very nice restaurant with special scottish food: I specifically remember the langoustines, so yummy!!! The quality of the food is great, and service is really good. We had a fantastic dinner with our friends and we also the opportunity to listen a small music show. Don't miss it if you are in Skye! but book a table before!

“Sunday Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2012

Live fairly local and on the spur of the moment decided to go to the Inn for Sunday lunch after hearing very good reports.
Great idea!
Service was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent.
Will make this a regular stop.

“Friendly service, excellent food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

We ate here one evening as we were staying in a local B and B for 2 nights and it was great to be able to walk to such a lovely restaurant and enjoy a wonderful meal and drink as much as you wished without having to worry about the drive back again. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive but not too over the top. I had the venison on a barley rissotto. It was delicious, I have never had a barley rissotto before and can certainly recommend this one. My husband had Scotch lamb and we both had the Talisker Parfait for desert. Once again this was a taste to remember as we really had no idea what to expect but if it is on the menu again do try it! It is similar to a very firm mousse, almost an ice cream consistency and flavoured with the local whisky and honey, served with homemade oatmeal shortcake. Absolutely delicious.

“Great success”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

First dropped in when the owners had just acquired the place and were struggling with restoring the building, yet alone getting their cuisine together. I remember the meal as OK but nothing special.
Now two years later, the food is excellent - scallops followed by a superb steak - and it shows in the number of diners. It was late September, but the restaurant was pleasantly busy - unlike most of the other places we dropped in on. Well done to all, you've done an amazing job with the place.
