“Great Value for money with quality!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2010

Stayed at Pueblo Torviscaas end of April 2010 and can honestly say what a great location, hotel and week we had. The location is excellent if you want to be away from the hustle n bustle of the "Strip" and it's non stop pestering of 50 drinks for a quid attitude.
The hotel itself was very friendly, clean and the pool area top quality. I booked my hotel through Maestro Vacations (http://maestrovacations.com) from a lovely woman called Lesley. She even called days before holiday due to the volcano issue in iceland to offer advice and potential resolutions to problems..How many large travel firms did this? Not many after speaking to others in our Hotel who had booked with one of the larger tour operators.
Food and entertainment in this hotel were very good and there are an abundance of bars and restaurants only a stones throw away for those wanting to try diifernet things.
A great bar called the moonlight bar is literally 150 yards away towards the sea front.
All in all a great place to stay and well worth a look. Oh and this hotel didn't seem to have the customary set of idiots that most Tenerife hotels get. All nice couples and small families. Top tip..If able and willing please visit Siam Park..great place but shop around for a price.. We managed to negotiate price down from Parks admission price of 28-30 euros to a local office for 25!

Went here for a week, the weather was brilliant it was roughly 22 degrees everyday. The hotel was good .Extras you have to pay for is the safe it costs 15.90 euros. We had an studio it has 2 beds a sofa bed .All were really comfortable only complaint would be the pillows but after i found a spare pillow i was fine. The room was really clean and looked good.It had all the basics, kettle, microwave etc.The pool side bar is brilliant the food was amazing and for a good price too.The staff make you feel welcome. The pool is cold but once your in it you soon get used to it.There was plenty of sunbeds too.The reception staff were also helpful for information on bustimes ect.The location was excellent its 10 minutes if that to the siam park free bus service also aqualand too. Also for mount teide.I would recommend people to go to Siam park (some staff are rude)it was a really good day.Aqualand was also worth going to ,people before i went said not to go but its definetly worth going too.Downside is it saltwater but its still well kept and a good day out.To use the lkockers its6 euros but you get back 2 euros after you had the key back in.As you enter you get your photo taking with parrots it costs 8 euros to buy. Also avoid fake gordan ramsey dont get reeled in because it only costs 7.95 euros for a 3 course meal.It looks nice well presented but once in we sat near the back and as i was eating i could see an alley way with shut down shops. Then i asked were the toilets were they were in the alleyway and quite a bit alone where people were smoking ect.The toilet itsself was vile the tap didnt work so you couldnt wash your hands. The male toilet were through the kitchen. The meal was disgusting it was badly presented and tasted horrible. Also another con they do is as you sit down on your table is 3 bottles of wine even if you dont drink them the put it on your bill. This didnt happen to us as we were warned before had and told them we dont want it.The waiter seemed really angry. We didnt get told its a dive tho.The next day all of us had bad stomach pain and i was bedded by it.Please listen and dont just think ill try it because it cheap there is a reason why its so cheap becauses its awful and you will regret it.We also went mount teide it cost 25 euros for the cable car which i didnt think it was worth that the scenary was nice but it was freezing and quite boring for young people. There is a walk which is nice.We never got told before you need a permit before you can go to the very top.You get hasseled by people on the street for hair briading etcYou have to be firm with them or they will keep going on.Your near asda and dinos.Right next to the beach it cost to hire sunbeds around 8 euros to 14.

Enjoyed our second stay at Pueblo Torviscas, despite the current work being carried out on site which created a lot of noise during the day. But considering that the rooms are quite tired it will be worth the disruption once the refit is finished. The pool is being refurbished next spring so that could be a time to avoid but it a very nice setting.

The staff on site, in reception and the bars and restaurants are all friendly and very helpful and 44 Regent Street worth a night in.

Take time to enjoy the local restaurants in the small bay of Porto Colon. Recommended bar/restaurants are El Ferry and The Blue Marlin overlooking the sea and offering great value, good quality meals.

It's a shame about the all night club (Saturdays) at the end of the road as there is a lot of noise when everyone arrives at midnight and leave just after 6 a.m.

All in all we will definitely go back after the refit is finished.

I had been to this hotel about 14 years previous but had forgotton how nice it was. The place is set in a great place so close to the lovely torviscas beach. I love this side of tenerife costa adeje quieter than americas but very close. It is also a bit cheaper this side, restaurants all very nice for breakfast, lunch & dinner reasonable too. The apartments are very nice & clean. The swimming pools are lovely. The kids pool upstairs is great with 2 gates & a little play area under cover with a little playhouse very good esp for the little ones to keep them in the shade. A lovely little pool.
I had a great time it had been 11 years since i had been to tenerife used to go every six months still love the place. There is a little shop just to the rigght out the front that does some lovely fresh baguettes again reasonably priced & very nice. Ideal place for families not a problem with pushchairs. you do have to go up the stairs to get to kids pool but worth it if you want to. there is always a life guard on duty. Nice little swim up bar too. There are two pools but the one at the back is the quieter pool no lido's or other swim things allowed mainlt the time share people at that pool nice & quiet though if that is what u want. The main pool is not noisy though either. I would definately go back there again & again may was a fantastic time to go always has been weather brilliant very hot. Sorry took so long to write this definately reccomend this place to anyone.

Its our fourth visit two with Thomson, one private accomodation and one Diamond Resorts. Each visit has been very enjoyable. The complex is very well equipped and positioned and the staff are excellent. Unfortunately I felt a bit let down this year as the studio we were was not up to the usual standard. I felt it was in need of refurbishment,
especially in the bathroom (plus a bleaching around the bath & tiles!!) Nevertheless, the weather was perfect, the food was good, entertainment in Regent Street very good and all in all another super holiday.

We booked this hotel recommended from family and I have to say it was completely lovely, 1 bed apartment was spacious with a big balcony facing the road.. not perfect but still views of sea/moutains. We booked to spend New Year in Tenerife and was not disapointed with Pueblo Torviscas, 44 Regents street (the on site bar/ entertainment venue) were very friendly and had some great acts on. Food in both bars were great and competitive in price. Towels changed every 2 days not sure if this was because of time of year but were are used to a daily towel change but not a big problem.
Downside to Pueblo Torviscas... Disco down the road that empties out and some rather unsavoury scenes happened outside our balcony.. throwing of bottles, glasses, shouting, swearing and some even thinking it was ok to preform sexual acts on the grass :-( with young kids we were disgusted, Thomson didnt seem to care and unfortunatley Pueblo Torviscas didnt seem to bothered.
So... yes were going to go again, but next time we will demand a pool view balcony. Im guessing demanding apartment blocks J,K,L is the way to go.. as Thomson only has two apartments on the front and they are G32 + I21... I think.
All in all... Lovely place, great apatments :)
