Hi Everyone...
This is Georgina and Dave here just wanted to say that it was June 2010 i no my review is late .....
Iv never been on Holiday on my own or with Dave for that matter so i was unsure what to expect.
Anyway we went with co op travel and to say that it was the most relaxing, smooth running holiday iv every been on the hotel was just the best couldn't of asked for a more beautiful place.
The staff and the local people were so friendly and welcoming we were only there for a week but ill tell you we could of stayed longer and if not for good.
You might think im bigging this up but i say you need to go and see for yourself.
The reception staff were so nice mentioning names Louise and the entertainer Margaret
no matter what there was fun and games and everyone old or young were invited to play and at night there are plenty of things to do.
The location couldn't of been more perfect for the fact that it wasn't to fare from the sea and entertainment and it was quiet and relaxing and to be honest we didn't want to leave the hotel there was enough going on there.
The room's were so big big enough for at leased 5 people if not more fully equipped kitchen even though we didn't need it because we was all in
there wasn't any air con but to be honest we didn't need it just left the doors open was a nice breeze at night room was clean and tided everyday fresh towels everyday we had a beautiful balcony looking out on the front.
The food was lovely different types everyday never got boring the chefs if you asked would make you something else the times for food though out the day were good there was always plenty to eat.
ice cream as much as you want the bar was ace there is a help yourself bar for people that are all in
We liked the way it was in its own little world because it had the pool around the apartments it was such a pleasant place to be the pool area was beautiful grate sized pool to one side just enough for a little dip and the other for a nice swim and there is also a little baby pool.
There is an on site shop not go everything but it will do and if you need anything else there is a supermarket just across the road and stays open late as we found out.
All in all the Holiday was Amazing didn't have any problems at all i will be saving up to go back with Dave as we promised the manager hope this helps.
much love Georgina and Dave xXXx

No air conditioning
No hair dryer
Had to make your own beds
leaking hot water tank...towel was placed to catch to water...had wood damage.
Not very pleased at all......would we be going again.....dont think so.

Had had not booked this one in the first place...I wanted another beach club but pressed the wrong one...My fault but this wont be the first or last place I will be disapointed with. But I strongly wont go to this accomadation again.

Very clean, staff were great. No Air con so rooms are very hot and difficult to sleep in. All Inc was a bit of a con compared to other hotels I have been too. Bar opens at 09.00 but all Inc doesn't become active until 11.00am, and on the last day the hotel stops your all inc at midday, unless you pay 20e to extend it, the bar closes at 11.00pm, the staff work long days and remain in a good mood considering, so 11.00pm is home time.

Rooms are large and clean with a TV, switch to ATV from DTV and you get BBC NEWS 24, BBC 1 & 2, and ITV 1 so soap fans can get a fix before the evening meal, OH the food, Breakfast is the best meal of the day, full English buffet style and your cereals and continental stuff, lunch and dinner are ok but after a few days its the same and gets boring, We ate out three nights over the 10 days.

The entertainment gets 10 out 10 for effort but 2 out of 10 for content, the pool area is ok and needs some repairs, the hotel is quite and has a mix of old and young, and this was during half term, its around a 15 min walk to the beach or a short taxi ride, best to walk down and taxi back.

Close to Siam park, Water park, which is expensive to visit but is a great day out, they don't allow Picnics to be brought in and food and drink in costly and a long queue, sneak in what you can is my tip.

I have not recommended this hotel based on the food and the lack of Air con, if your booked in to stay be prepared for this and I'm sure you will still have a great time.

Stayed at Compostela Golf 11 10-22 Sep. 1st tip, make sure you book the right one as there are three (1 right behind beach, 11 between courthouse and golf course and 3rd behind golf course. 11 offers all inclusive option). 2nd tip, take you own music as the stuff played poolside is not hip and gets very repetitive! 3rd tip, don't go here expecting to be able to eat in every night as the food choice is limited and dinner time seems to be mostly leftovers from lunch and deep fried in olive oil (the snacks are better- toastie time!!!). On the positives.....nice quite location, but near enought to LA and Los Cristianos if you don't mind a walk (taxi for 5/6 euros if you do), the self serve beer is a good idea so to avoid big queues (although do be careful unless you want a DORADO shower) and the rooms are very spacious and although dated are clean. Biggest warning would be that not EVERYTHING is all inclusive. So if you like your Magnums, Baileys, Red Bull etc expect to pay up (we did not realise until were reprimanded for trying to prize open the locked fridge!). That said, it's amazing how nice local G&T's and plain vanilla ice cream taste when you're not paying for it!. Last word....we met some amazing people and had a great holiday in spite of, not because of this hotel.

Arrived at these apartment at 8.30pm - reception staff great - was told no air con but fans for hire - the told safety deposit box not free so on first arrival just paid out money 6 euro for hire of fan - 6 euro deposit - need more than one fan - 15 euro for safety deposit plus 6 euro deposit. Apartments - these were large and clean - we then headed down to the restuarant as we told they sherve till 9.30pm it was about 9.10pm - the waiter (tall thin with glasses) told us it was shut and not in a nice way eiher although we had been told by reception it was open - but they did get us some food but made us feel a nuisance, This particular waiter was miserable the whole holiday - was liked by no one and to me was in the wrong job. The pool area was clean and tidy but a little dated and a few repairs were needed to get it up to standard. The food was not brilliant but was ok - glas we only stayed 7 days a fortnight of that food would of driven you nuts - the bar - self serve pump so no queues which was great this was just for beer and soft drinks. Anything else you had to ask. The bar shut at 11 am on the dot - and even though we and a few others has drinks still to finish the bar staff shut everything up and turned the outside lights out - so very rude - one night the security men called the police because people were still drinking and chatting outside - this was completely unnessary as no one was making a noise or upsetting anyone, The evening entertainment was rubbish apart from the night a singer was ok - everyone enjoyed that and she even let a couple of people sing too - for about 2/3 nights there was no entertainment at all - would I stay again - definatey not. unless the staff were friendlier (this does not include reception staff who were brill) the food was better - the apartments air con- the pool area updated. This holiday was made so much better by the friends e made and that made it bearable.
