“Excellent hotel with very friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

Stayed here last year and went back again this year with the family, we were not disappointed. The apartment was very clean with satellite TV and a well equipped kitchen, rooms were cleaned every other day by a very friendly cleaner. The balcony had great views of Costa Adeje. The pool is quite simply spotless, cleaned every day and all the surrounds hosed down.
The bar/reception staff David and Rhos are second to none, nothing was too much trouble and always service with a smile, including advise on trips etc.
Other people have mentioned the steep hill, yes it is VERY steep but there is a good pub half way up to call into if required and taxis by UK standards are cheap maybe 4 euros from the Mercadona supermarket to the apartments although reception does sell some reasonably priced essentials if you don't want the hassle.
Overall a very good holiday enjoyed by all the family.

Room Tip: Most rooms seem to have balconies which have some great views , but the higher the better

We ended up staying here unknowingly because we rented a studio apartment through airbnb. So we stayed here by letting from an owner of a unit since this complex is part hotel part apartments. We got a very very good rate so this was far better than we expected - it's very quiet so it's perfect if you want to stay in this area of the island but don't want to stay in the middle of all the action. The pool area was perfect, lot's of nice sunbeds, very clean, pool was not cold, perfect temperature, and the whole complex was spotlessly clean as well. The poolside bar was great too, and is open until 8pm. The bartender/concierge is great, fun to talk to and helpful. The only thing is that I would have felt safer if there was a 24/7 concierge or security guard because it is indeed so quiet. You need to be vigilant because robberies can happen since it's such a touristy area on an island, but as long as you keep your security bars locked at night there is nothing to be afraid of. Being from New York, keeping the awareness level high at all times is nothing I'm not used to, but the quietness at night plus being on the ground floor did make it a little spooky.

Many of the apartments, including ours, have outdoor terraces and it's lovely because you can see the ocean. The complex is built into a hill so you can see the ocean in the distance from most places. This makes it indeed far away from the beach (well, a 5 minute car ride which is perfect) so don't stay here thinking you can roll out of bed and walk conveniently to the beach. Renting a car was a good decision. We found it was easy to find parking in the Plaza del Duque area with easy beach access - don't know if we were just lucky that day or what. It can be difficult to find parking everywhere because the big resorts are built adjacent to the beach with private parking, so just know where you're going. It's not practical to think you can walk to the grocery store from here, either - even though it's a 15 minute walk, as I said the complex is in a hill so you would be walking up a steep hill for 15 minutes in the sun and heat with groceries in hand - not complaining though, we did not stay here expecting to walk everywhere. Parking near the complex is free. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and it's definitely a great value. Perfect if you want to take in the action during the day but sleep away from it.

5 star apartments for 2 star prices.Just back from Tenerife, These apartments are by far the best that I have ever ever stayed in. They are extremely clean, and contain everything that you could think of to enjoy your stay. I had a bit of a stroke on route from the airport to the apartments (very steep hill) but then again I am very lazy so don't let that put you off. When you see the apartment the hills will be worth it. The pool is amazing and spotless you could literally eat your dinner off the ground it is so clean. The peace and quit was amazing. the staff could not do more to help you with a special thanks to David who was an amazing person to deal with. Overall these apartments are fantastic not like the typical dog box you would expect. I would Highly recommend these apartments to anybody and everybody.

Room Tip: We had apartment 90 and it had the sun all day. Massive one bedroom apartment.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

I normally never write reviews but I had such a positive experience of this place that I felt obliged. I rented a “Studio” apartment in late May/early June 2013.
The flat: Turned out to not be a studio at all as it had a fairly spacious bedroom as a separate room to the kitchen/living room, as well as a balcony. The place was spotless clean when I arrived and was cleaned 4/5 times a week. There was a cooker with grill&oven, a full sized-fridge/freezer combo and a kettle, along with all the cutlery and crockery you could need. Everything was quite high quality, with a lovely marble countertop in the kitchen and bathroom. The balcony was spacious and was exposed to direct sunlight for 3/4s of the day. There was also a 20” flatscreen TV with Sky News and a few European channels. I was really surprised with the high quality of the room given the price I’d paid.

The location: I was fairly apprehensive about how far out the flats were from other reviews. These fears were ill-founded. It was a 10 minute walk to the commercial area with cheap supermarkets, decent restaurants, nightlife, etc etc could be found. It was a further 10 minutes to the sea from there but I would say it’s a 30 minute walk before you got to a decent stretch of beach. Not that I can see why you’d want to go to the beach when there’s a pool in the complex… It also has said that the ascent to the complex was greatly exaggerated in other reviews. True, the front entrance involved a bit of a trek, as you had to climb a main road online to descend the side-road that the entrance is on. But the way to the back entrance involved barely any gradient, so really anyone complaining about the steepness must not have read the brochure upon arrival.

The complex: decent pool with plenty of deck chairs. Bar that served food and sold some staples such as bread, water and eggs. There was a gym too with a basic weights bench and dumbells, as well as an exercise bike and treadmill. Decent enough. There was only internet in the bar area, which didn’t have a plug. Plenty of seat though and no pressure at all to buy a drink when you were up there.
The staff: Absolutely lovely. The staff must be treated well by management because even the cleaners were always extremely courteous and friendly, which I haven’t always found to be the case in the hospitality sector of any country… So fair play to them for always doing their job with a smile and also fair play to the management for (apparently) keeping them happy. But special mention must go to the two lads who ran the bar/shop/reception thing, who always went above and beyond to make sure everybody was happy. Davide in particularly was great chat and managed to learn everybody’s name, as well as speaking 5 different languages! They were very helpful in any enquiries I had and did me a favour by letting me print off my Ryanair ticket for the return flight. Superb service.

The bad: I do have one negative thing to say however. The reception area closes at 5.30 pm and if there are any arrivals after that time, you are told by a sign on the gate to go to a nearby hotel run by the same company. I wish they had warned us of this by email as I had to waste money on two additional taxis (about €10) to get to the check-in location and back. This was very poor, especially as a first impression, but I am glad to report that it is the sole offense of my two week stay.

I chose this apartment complex because it was not expensive, and I really wanted to avoid shared accomodation. My apartment had a balcony and a sea view.
It is quiet at night. The pool is good and private. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are secure if you use common sense and use the security bar on your balcony door.

I came to Playa de Las Americas to surf, and I wish I did a little more research, because this complex is about a 1-2 mile walk from the surf beaches. And too far and crowded to walk with a board. The Los Cristianos end of town it is a nicer and near to "La Derecha" surf spot..
It's a good place for friends travelling together, couples and family..

Stayed here for a week with friends. We were extremely happy with the place. The aprtment was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was cleaned every day, and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was a bit worried first about the distance and hight from the beach, but actually it wasn't bad at all. The pool was heated which we didn't expect. It was great! The bar is cheap, wifi works good. Overall there is nothing bad I can say, I would definitely return to this place. Thanks guys!

Lets get things straight, these are what seem to be predominantly time share or private apartments which are let-out. For that reason there will probably be some discrepancy and variation in conditions and states of repair.
Our apartment was roomy enough, although it would have been tight if two others had been using the bed-settee. The finish was very good and plenty of utensils, hairdryer, iron etc. The only thing lacking was an oven although there was a microwave and a 2 ring hob. Nice touches like washing-up liquid and scourers make a difference.
Bathroom was very nice and constant hot water.
Very large balcony and exterior dining facilities, but even more surprising was an even larger area to the side of the apartment where you could sun-bathe privately if you wished.
The pool area was clean and tidy with enough sun-beds to not warrant the 7am towel run (no I don't). Ok the pool slightly cold, but hey its winter there as well.
The staff were friendly and the bar and 'supermarket' prices were on a par or cheaper than down in the resort. The reception is not open extensively and if you're arriving early/late I'd email and get instructions.
Down side, it is at the top, I would actually say its in San Eugenio Alto. If you have walking difficulties its not for you. However there are courtesy buses several times a day and evening to Duque and Las Americas. We enjoyed the walk, but can well understand some would'nt.
Worth every penny we paid and would visit again, tomorrow preferably.
