“Don't Believe most of the Negative reviews !”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

I went to these apartements with much trepadation considering the numerous negative reviews on here. I d have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms had a slightly outdated feel but you get what you pay for. We went to these apartments from 16th july to 23rd july. We experienced no negative issues from staff or Security those who did where up drinking on their balcony all night & their constant noise/antics disturbed other residents sleep so security intervention was justified. You get what you pay for its not a family hotel but is perfect for young people & you easierly make freinds amongst the freindly co residents by the pool. All the night life is right on your doorstep and ideally suited for 18-25 year olds looking for a wild time. For those of you looking for a more up market night you can go Monkey Beach club. This was my favourite bar its just beyond Veroncas & towards Adeje . Its has chilled out cafe del mar / mambo feel during the week on sundays theres a evening 'house' party with pyrotecnics not to be missed !

Me and my friends stayed here from the 18th-25th july, one night i was in my friends room upstairs as my room was downstairs, were young lads so we were just having the craic before hitting the town, i heard a knock on the door and went to answer it and straight away was pulled by the hair by the security guard HAZUS i think thats how you spell his name he had been openly drinking absent alcohol with guests while on duty, straight away dragged me by the hair through reception and outside and began viciously punching me in the upper body, it was only after i begged him to stop that he allowed me to go, And to think that guy was supposed to be there for my safety. So be careful of him if you go there he acts innocent around women for obvious reasons, his shift is 7pm to 7am.

It really is a grand place to stay if going over for the nightlife and some daytime activities. Anybody who brings their family to the centre of Playa de las Americas and complains about the noise into the early hours of the morning is just a fool. Noise so close the the busiest partying spot in the Canary Islands is an expected thing.
The rooms were much bigger and cleaner than we expected for the price paid. They were cleaned every second day and we always got fresh towels. The balcony was a very good size and the kitchen was reasonable.
There is a safe in the room which you can get for around £10 for the week. You'd be very silly not to get it. I'd ignore complaints from people about being robbed because if you didn't get a safe and use it then it's nobody's fault but your own.
The pool area is decent to and there's handy 24hr shops nearby and plenty of places for food.
One word of warning. The female receptionist who is there sometimes is, well, basically a bi**h. She's extremely rude and ignorant and I've heard of her trying not to give deposits back to people (especially groups of young males) and making up over-exaggerated stories about their behavior to justify this. They do allow leniency with regard to behavior but if there is another group of young people being particularly rowdy and causing disturbances/trouble then make sure you and your group make it know that you had no involvement with it and distance yourself from it because otherwise she will just see you all as the culprits.
Defiantly a good place for a group for friend looking for a week of fun.

Poor furniture but acceptable for those who plan to spent most of the time outside. Noise can be terrible if your room window has nice view :)
Good cleaning without the tip!! We had been leaving couple euro but the money stayed where we left them after the cleaning.
There is safe inside the room.
Good utensils. It's nice to have the possibility to make a cup of tea or coffee :)
10 min walk to the beach. Nice and easy.

Please think again before booking at this 'hotel'. The staff are extremely rude and the standard of accommodation was exceptionally poor. We were asked to leave for 'so called' noise, this was not true as we were out of our apartment when reception claimed we were making noise. We believe they had our group mixed up with a bunch of rowdy essex lads! If you are a large group, please do not stay here!!!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO PARTY. 10 young males from Newcaslte came 11/06/2012 for a week - we were threated to be thrown out on the first night for being too loud. Bare in mind that you could hear all of the noise from the strip we only had a small ipod dock on and left at midnight to go out. A small ipod dock by the pool was the only other noise we made. We were told we had to leave the hotel tonight and they had recived the most complaints that reception had ever taken that night. When i asked to see the complaints book it was all in spanish so i asked for a copy (as i speak spanish) they would let me - all of the dates were from a year ago. After this night we actaully got another apartement rented opposite (I highly recomend it) we stayed here most nights and avoided the playazul as they threated us with police beatings. On 2nd last night we retured to the playazul where a security guard sat outside of our room writing down what noise we were making. After a rough week 3 of the lads were asleep on the sofa with the t.v. on - this was the only noise made. He told reception that we were having a party with prositiutes and actually hit one of our mates for asking why he was sat outside. We decided for our own safety to go out early that night. After a night on the tiles I came back at 9.30 am and at 10am a lady came running in (she was the rep) telling us that we needed to leave now the police were coming to take our passports and beat us up for being too noisy last night - WE WERE NOT NOISY. For fear of our lives we left the country early. I DONT ADVISE ANYONE TO USE THIS HOTEL FOR ITS PURPOSE AS A CHEAP CHEARFUL BASIC HOTEL. Ill manered staff and un helpfulnesss is all you got ! all the best!!

Room Tip: top floor has no liftt.

Stayed here July 2011 with a groups of girls (all in our early 20s). Obviously on holidays for a good time and were looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay.
The apartments are dated but have everything you would want. In a good location in the centre of all the clubs, etc. And the views are amazing.
BUT the staff are HORRENDOUS! We booked online and there was a mix up with the bookings. This was fine and would have been no problem if the manager hadnt been so rude. Apparently we had to pay for an extra night because we had booked the wrong dates. We tried to explain the mix up that had occured. The manager refused to listen and was unbelievably obnoxious and told us to pay for the extra night or leave the hotel. The situation was handled so badly by the staff and I was disgusted. We finally agreed to pay for the extra night, after being hounded by the manager who could barely understand what we were saying. We wouldnt have minded paying the extra money if the mix up had been handled with a bit of basic customer service. This incident would put me off staying here again.
