“not too bad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

stayed here for 1 week over Easter 2013, family of 7, 4 adults, children 12 and 7 and baby. when we pulled up i thought oh what have we come to, i was however pleasantly surprised as the hotel was clean and everyone was very friendly. we stayed A/Inc and didn't want for anything. usual array of foods on offer with something for everyone. the rooms were large, basically furnished but very clean. location is great right between americas and los cristianos. all in all a good place for a weeks holiday

Our fourth visit in three years and it just gets better. We were there from 15/03/13 to 29/03/13. My only criticism on past visits were the sun lounger rats who get out at 7am and put their towels on the beds. Each bed now has a sign that states any towels put on sunbeds before 10am will be removed and kept safe in reception. Wonderful news. No matter what time of day you came down to sunbathe you always got a sunbed. Didn't matter on our second week as we returned to the room after lunch and found two new sunbeds on the terrace and a ceiling fan fitting in the lounge. (why we had no fan in the bedroom is a mystery as everyone else I spoke to had a fan in the bedroom).
The hotel is like most people say absolutely spotless and the cleaning staff are on the go all day and evening. Food must have been good as I managed to put nearly 2 stones on in a fortnight. Great breakfasts, lunches and dinners with snacks in between. The barbecue night was a meat feast of tremendous portions with your steak cooked individually to your taste.
Barmen and waiters are first class and go the extra mile for you, nothing is ever too much bother. Still wish they would get rid of the plastic glasses for AI guests though. Still do not understand why I have to drink out of plastic but if you pay for a drink you get a glass. Special thanks to Maria for sorting out my request for a ground floor room due to recent back surgery I had had which made walking difficult. I cannot ever seeing us stopping anywhere else in Tenerife but this hotel, it has everything we need. See you all soon.

Thank you very much for your nice and positive review. Fan in your bed room is not a mystery, just a technical issue that needed to be solved before installing the fan :) It was a pleasure to arrange the room for you!!! Hope to see you very soon!

I booked this hotel and travel on the 15th May 2012 - 29th May 2012 AI. There was myself, my partner, my brother whom is disabled and 3 children.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment facing the pool on the 3rd floor and can say it was clean, maid in every day facilities for self catering. The rooms where not small quite large, the views from both balconies where amazing. My partner was very happy as this was his first time abroad. This was my 2nd visit to Tenerife.

The entertainment during the day from what I seen was fashion shows, water aerobics and volley ball. The evening entertainment was fantastic, a different array of shows although during our two week stay some where repetitive.

The AI was value for money, there was always different dishes every day for lunch and dinner and a BBQ on a Thursday. The kids weren't complaining at the endless amounts of dishes available.

the location is close to the beach and shopping centre.

Never seen the Thomas Cook rep but I will say Siam Park is defo worth the money. But the medieval night total waste of money, although I did see this show in 2001 and it was fantastic defo got down hill.

Although they seemed a few hen/stag parties going on they never hassled or caused to much noise.

Would recommend this hotel to anyone its great for familes and couples and oap's.

We stayed at the Parque de la Paz from 29th March till 5th April, We chose self catering accommodation. The apartment was basic but very large and clean. The pool area and pool bar were excellent. There were always plenty of sun beds available (don't know if this would be the case peak season though). Our children are aged 18 and 15 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We found an excellent bar (the Bulls Head) with a live band which played every night from 10 pm till 1 am. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around the area with plenty of choice. There are also a number of Takeaways. We noticed that there were loads of people who had booked all inclusive, but we found the freedom of self catering to be a much better option for our family, as the food/drink in the nearby bars/restaurants was reasonably priced with plenty of choice. We would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again if we get the chance. PM ,Barnsley

I stayed here with my family and had a great time. The apartments are lovely and spacious and the cleaners are in there every day. We had the all inclusive and the kids loved the unlimited ice cream! There was an area exclusively for the all inclusive guests behind the main bar. There was a never ending supply of food and drink with a wide selection. Breakfast and dinner were served in the main restaurant. Again there was a wide selection and my daughter loved the omelettes that were made to order. At lunchtime there were various snacks such as burgers, hot dogs, lasagne, freshly cooked pork, chicken and beef. The entertainment was fabulous and was non-stop all day. The entertainment is outside and all the apartment surround it, this can be a problem with noise in the evening as it does not stop till around midnight. Close by are a parade of bars and eaterys and a bit further down the road is a shopping centre and the beach. Overall a great hotel and great location.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view, as the rooms the otherside of the hotel face the road and the hotel next door.
