The staff at the hotel are super friendly, the pool is always beautifully clean and enjoyable. The whole place is kept spotless and is only across the road from the main shopping centre where you can get all your daily requirements. the beach is a two min walk and you have small pubs and restaraunts all round the hotel. not too close as to keep you awake at night as when in bed you get peace and quite for a great nights sleep. There is no air con which may be a problem for children and some folk but the rooms are just great. That was my second trip to the same hotel and i will definetly be going back. 10 out of 10. It was that nice i am looking to buy in the complex but im finding this impossible. Please go and enjoy the whole scene.

This hotel was clean and tidy. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast very good, a wide selection catered for every taste. Had a one bedroom apt which included fridge, a two-ringed electric stove and a microwave. (Could pay deposit to use t.v., and kettle).
Electronic safe in our room cost 80 euros (£57) for one week!
Pool was nice, clean medium sized but disappointingly no balls or lilos etc were allowed in the pool or around the pool area even though the hotel advertised as being suitable for couples or families! Sun beds were free and plenty of them. Also our room didnt have double glazing and was right by a constantly busy road, so we didnt get much sleep!
The beaches were nice but again no balls allowed to be played on the beach. Restaurants and cafes were varied and our favourite was Val de Mar restaurant along the sea front past the harbour, towards Los Cristianos. The people were very friendly and helpful and funny, food was excellent and prices too. We only wished we found it sooner! Have fun!!!

We have just returned from a 14 night holiday at the Los Geranios Hotel in Tenerife on 9th January 2007.

We were greatly disappointed as the reviews we read beforehand were really good.

We were in room 71, right by the generators which were sounding from eight in the morning until 12 midnight. Also we were situated by steps which was the main walkway to all the lower apartments. People were coming home at all hours, therefore preventing us from sleeping.

When we complained to reception, whoever was on at the time seemed to have difficulty in understanding what we were trying to say, which I find a little disbelieving as they were quite conversant with other Engish couples who were after advice!!

We finally spoke to the Customer Relations Officer who was based at the apartments now and then, and she offered us an alternative room just along the corridor which made no difference at all, and said that there were no other rooms available for the duration of our stay, which was by then still another 11 days.

My wife is pregnant and we have a three year old daughter, so to save uprooting for a room just as bad, we decided to stay put and suffer for the rest of our holiday!

There were many other issues that I would like to write about, but that would take forever.

We stayed for two weeks and the on bed & breakfast basis. The hotrl, food & staff were all excellent. Los Geranios sits in a quiet place but only a short walk to the beach front and bars. If you have walking problrms it is up a slight hill and there are steps to some of the rooms. Overall we really had an enjoyable and very comfortable stay.
