What can i say, Greengolf was brilliant. I've read all reviews and have a tendency to think some people are talking about a different place.
Anyway, we took 3 of our 4 children ages 7, 16 and 20 and what a brilliant time we all had. The complex is great, very very clean (no creepy crawlies) and the staff were great. Good entertainment and the food was great. We went self catering but did have the odd meal in the poolside restaurant and treated ourselves to the posh restaurant and breakfast on our last day. (yummy) It was just the right size for a complex, low rise and compact which meant you didn't have to walk far to the pool. The only thing we weren't keen on was that it was a cashless resort, which meant you put money on your room card and spent like that. The shop was expensive but luckily for us we had hired a car so used the local supermarkets.... We will definately go all-inclusive next time... Pool attendants were very vigilant and so was the kids club leader. Water polo, darts, table tennis and a couple of other things that don't come to mind.
Getting into town is easy, it is a short walk down the hill (thank god we hired a car) and yes there was the odd prostitute but they never bother you....and remember when you get to the bottom of the hill take a left turn not a right otherwise you'll end up in the grottier side of town. The left was superb and we had many wonderful nights in the cafes and bars. The shops were amazing, top notch...... and the street entertainment was trully fantatsic.
Days out: Mount Teide
Loro park
Siam Park (you can actually walk across the road to this)
These are the days out we chose to do but there is so much more. Days out can add quite alot to your holiday so be careful to budget yourselves....
We just loved this holiday and will definately being going back in the future....
