We stayed here in February having chosen it because it was wheelchair friendly. For the most part this is true but a wheelchair user can't use the lifts very well unaccompanied as the space is small and the buttons not very accessible.
We found that the only electric socket into which to plug my wife's battery charger was in the bathroom which was to say the least, a little inconvenient.
There was plenty of variety in the food, some of which was very good -- the freshly cooked especially -- but some of it was not so good. Being entirely self-service made it a bit of a pain as it took quite some time to find out where everything was. The coffee was undrinkable and sometimes the water for making tea was only luke-warm. But the variety available did mean you could make your individual meals up with whatever took your fancy.
Use of the safe or TV was extra. A cup of tea at the bar was almost two euros and a soft drink even more.
However the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The staff were always very friendly including the manager.
We only once looked in on the evening entertainment -- the wheelchair access was inconvenient and the disco was dark and noisy so we came away.
We haven't stayed anywhere else in the area so cannot make comparisons. It doesn't seem to quite rate 4-stars.
