“not again!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2009

me and my friends all of 18 just returned from this hotel. wasn't what we expected and the pictures look alot nicer than the hotel itself. The location was REALLY good. Loads of shops and bars nearby. we took a taxi to the main area where all the bars and resturants were, just a 5 min taxi ride costing 3 of us 2euros each.taxi rank literally just outside the hotel.

we went all inclusive, there was alot of food at meal times however you didn't even get crisps included in the all inclusive. there was alot of food but we thought it was of poor quality as it was always only luke warm. everyday, whatever was for lunch you would expect to see that for dinner aswell. not much difference on food each day. my favourite meal time was breakfast as they did have pancakes and cooked breakfasts. puddings were ok.

staff were ok however we had to ask reception 4 times if we could each have extra pillows before they finally did anything.
we did have a cockroch in our bathroom even though we were on the top floor, floor 9! man a reception came and sorted it straight away though.
pool was nice and plenty of sunbeds available but umbrellas are abit sparce and some people tryed to steal ours while we were in the pool.
floor 9 has really good views though, the room has sea views over to the beach. beach just a 10 min walk away.

water park was really good. only a 10 min walk. we had to leave at 3 as the floor was unbearable hot and we could walk around on it anymore. we had to run around the waterpark as the floor was burning our feet. only seemed to affect the english though.

overall it was a nice getaway, glad i only stayed a week though. really nice weather but am glad to be home.

We had a great week at this hotel and loved the fact that you could get a pool bed at any time of the day.

We went all inclusive . Our only small moan was about the quality of the wine which was watery and not for us. However our recommendation, drink the cava. It is very drinkable and during the week we converted many people to it. You also get bowls of peanuts and olives if you ask for them when drinking at the bars.

The rooms are clean but basic but if you are like us it is not a big issue as we only use them to sleep in and spend very little other time there.

Go again. Yes definitely as for the price it was definitely good value.

spent two weeks at the end of june with my wife and daughter.the pools(3) were clean and there was plenty of sun beds.food was good ,i put on 8lbs in two weeks.the entertaintment staff were brill and kept every body happy with different things to do every day.whether you were 3 or 63..the hotel is well away from the hustle and bustle of the youngones night life, but 5 minutes walking and you are down the front at the marina where there are plenty of shops, bars ,and eating places all along a half mile stretch.only complaint i had was the rule for dinner at night ,my daughter could enter the restuarant with nothin on but a boob tube and 6 inches of skirt, but i had to wear full lenght trousers and shirt with1/4lenght sleeve.discrimination if nothing else.

Just returned back from the Las Dalias hotel and we agree with most of the comments made on the hotel, the staff are helpful and friendly the food is good the location is good, the complex itself is very apealing, the only problem we found was that groups of lads kept arriving and being fully inclusive once the drink got hold they became a nightmare rowdy, bad language, they even became bored lying around the pool hence they decided to liven it up in their own way.... ..Some days were unbearable as each group of lads became firendly with the other groups hence a nightmare ... there were lots of families with young children and the older holidaymaker and this sort of behaviour was not acceptable.. We found out that these groups were coming in on late deals and not the sort of rates most of us had paid which added insult to injury, hence if these sorts had not been there i am sure the holiday would have been 100% better.........

lovely hotel up quite a steep hill. the taxi rank is dead opposite if you arent good at walking. staff brilliant so friendly. Food very good pool area massive and loads of sun beds. Room comfy with mini fridge. bottled water available from all the bars whcih close at midnight. quiet hotel. beach towwels from reception 24/7 5euro returnable deposit. only one problem with teenagers one night. They get one warning from either reception or rep and THEY ARE OUT which is nice to know. quite a lot of families with children of all ages we are 66 and cant wait to go back. La Pinta is a lovely child friendly beach clean sand and sea little bars and shops. very sheltered. Takes about 30mins to stroll to Playa in opposite direction.

great hotel food terrific and plenty of it.put on about two stone.we went all inclusive and was good value.staff helpful and pleasant.rooms cleaned every day towels changed daily if you wish.plenty sun beds around the pool.not supossed to reserve the loungers but you still get the idiots that cant read the notices.only complaint i have is we gentlmen have got to wear long trousers to dinner while the females can wear shorts and three quarter lenth trousers which i think is a bit of discrimination.

Just came back from Las Dalias yesterday, all inclusive. Could not fault the hotel at all. Was at the hotel last year and would say it was even better than last year. Had Cava for breakfast!!. Could not believe it when at about 11am a woman came out and cooked chips, hot dogs and burgers!! near the entertainment stand. Excellent! Needless to say I have put on about half a stone since going and coming back but did expect this after last year. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and will be going back next year. Definitely!!!
