“Clean friendly and multi national”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

My wife and I stayed in this hotel in April 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was sparklingly clean, the rooms although small were modern and comfortable with most having a sea view. Multi national and mostly Spanish guests which was a good sign and not too many noisy Brits shouting and getting drunk. Food acceptable for most tastes and really friendly and helpful staff. Only downside was that it was in earshot of Veronicas and although the double glazing was suffice if you are a light sleeper the noise is audible in the background but not bad enough to stop me sleeping.

Room Tip: Side facing away from Las Americas and Veronicas strip.

hotel was very clean, the rooms well presented, nice plasma TV on wall but no engish tv channel only a bbc news so that could be improved, maids excellent rooms clean daily, pool was excellent 20 metre big pool, plenty of sunbeds, beds ok but noise from strip can sometimes affect sleep, the downsides are hotel room phone a complete rip off, made few calls back home an 1 call to bank as had mobile stolen an 5 drinks in bar an came to 145 euros, avoid using hotel room phone an the bar wont let you pay cash for drinks they add it to bill, drinks 3 euros a pint an 6 euros for spirits, internet is 1 euro for 20 mins, reception staff polite an helpful and entertainment staff quite good they have aqua aerobics on every day but didn't see any water polo for the lads, be careful outside hotel I ad phone, wallet an chain stolen, lots people pestering you for money everywhere outside hotel so that was annoying being stopped every 20 metres, hotel food only had breakfasts stuck to tea an toast as hot food no omelletes etc, if I could improve the hotel id say put sky news tv in rooms, improve the hot food at breakfasts but al in all it was decent clean hotel , ask for pool view 3rd floor no need to upgrade my m8 was on 7th floor an same room, also theres ok gym at hotel to keep fit an tennis courts I only noticed the table tennis on last day that was outside, weather fantastic 25 everyday, didn't use air con in room didn't need it

Room Tip: 3rd floor overlooking pool sea, email hotel a week before

this hotel is placed in an excellent position for beach shops walks and night life
loads of pubs within 5 minute walk for meals and drinks.
hotel itself is clean and meals and staff first class.read couple of negative reviews before going but people who wrote these reviews must be very hard to please or just a compulsive moaner with nothing pleasing them.
would recommend this hotel without hesitation

Room Tip: try get 5 th floor seem to be better rooms

Really enjoyed my recent stay in Hotel Troya. The hotel is clean and the service provided was always good. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is a nice sun terrace if you like a bit of peace & quiet.
A special mention must go to Sergio (Hotel Relationship Manager) who went out of his way personally to accommodate my late check out request. As we had also missed our first evening meal due to a very late flight departure, Sergio arranged for us to have a lunch on the day of our departure which was much appreciated. The guys at the poolside & the lady leading the kids entertainment also deserve a special mention; they were fab and clearly put safety alongside fun high on the agenda. This is a very good family hotel or would also suit couples and sole travellers. It's not a full on noisy party hotel if that's what you require but has some pleasant entertainment each day. The cost of a room here is very fair - I booked direct with the hotel without any issues. I would definitely stay again. Lisa C

Hotel was nice enough and very close to the beach but it is difficult to sleep because of noise from nearby bars. We only stayed for 3 days but if it had been longer I would have asked to move rooms to see if it is any better on the other side of the hotel. It is in walking distance of the water park but is a much longer walk to the main strip with high street shops.

This is our third visit to tenerife and we've stayed at different hotels every time, always 4 star. This hotel isn't 4 star compared to them.
We arrived and were checked in very fast, like extremely fast! We weren't told anything about club Alexander, facilities or the fact that we could swap dinner for lunch on the days we were out in the evening! We only found this out when checking out and the receptionist told another couple everything they had to know about their stay!
The food was ok but it does cater more for German and French but it didn't bother us as we ate at La Terrazza most nights.
The bathroom could be doing with a steam clean on the grout. The room next to us were heavy smokers and smoking in the room!! It started coming through our air conditioning and our room smelled of stale cigarette smoke.
Apart from that nice clean hotel.
Brilliant spa!!

We stayed here for 5 days of relaxation and we were not dissapointed . The location is excellent the rooms are OK not expecting a lot anyway but was perfect for what we needed. However the helpfulness and friendlyness of the staff made it more enjoyable, they went out of their way when we needed advice and gave us great recommendations for excursions. They didnt make us feel like they were trying to rip us off like you get with most hotels. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy ourselves and have a great holiday. I would especially like to thank yuresha (I think that's her name) the lady with the short brown hair on reception. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend everybody to stay here as you would not be dissapointed.
