This was our first visit to Villa Cortes in early October 2012 and it certainly will not be our last. The hotel more than lived up to all our expectations and was full of character. The service in all areas of the hotel was exemplary. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, well appointed and quiet. The breakfasts were excellent and the "Mexican Evening" meal on the Saturday should not be missed. Having stayed in many hotels in all parts of Tenerife, this hotel must rate as one of the very best.

Just returned from a weeks half board with my wife and daughter. A very upmarket quiet and peaceful hotel, very few English, mostly Russians and Germans and not many kids. This suited us as all we wanted was a relaxing quiet week with good food which exceeded my expectations especially the evening meal which was worthy of 5 stars, not your normal stampede buffet but a la carte table service. The Breakfast Buffet was plentiful and freshly made as you would expect from a hotel of this class. Our room was larger than normal as we had a sofa bed for our child, large 40 inch tv with plenty channels of all languages. A very large balcony with loungers, tables and chairs. The hotel has a perfect location and very central. Bad points ? Hard to think of much. Maybe fresh towels in the evening as most people shower in the morning and then again after sunbathing all day. Temp adjustment on the aircon would be good. Only one point i thought was not normal in a 5 star hotel which was room service breakfast trays or plates or maybe glasses and empty wine bottles left in the hotel corridor by the maids in the morning after cleaning the rooms. Most days they were still there early evening, Did not bother me personally but found it rather strange. I have been to Tenerife on a number of occasions and this hotel is probably the best one i have stayed in and will return on my next visit.

Hotel feels quite classy from the moment that you enter it. Rooms are large, spacious, well appointed and are kept extremely clean.
Breakfast is done extremely well and is something to look forward to each day. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Pool can be a little chilly but sun beds are clean and comfortable and towel service is excellent. Haven't eaten in the hotel restaurants in the evening as there are so many to chose from just outside in the town.

Just returned from another fabulous two weeks at Villa Cortes. This was our seventh visit and looking forward to going back again next year. There is nothing you could complain about. The staff are all very helpful and efficient. Especially David at the Beach Club who looks after all the customers extremely efficiently, even the difficuly ones!!
