When i booked this hotel last year it was rated 5*. So i was very exited, until we got there. From the outside it looked old! Inside, the entrance was big with elevators with windows. The room was awfull small and old. The bathroom was small. On the terras we looked out on the pool with is a great view, we could also see the sea. So that was nice but a night the animation was underneath us, so there was no sleeping until after midnight sadly. The food was ok but definetly not wow! (for a 5*) We ate twice at the hotel, and the other night to a restaurant. The big pool was nice but to much people around the pool, u had to search for an empty bed and a there were loud! works at hotel Sir Anthony (which looked beautiful). But it was right next to the pool what made it for me imposseble to stay there. If we were swimming we stayed at the hotel next to ours (which also belonged to our group of hotel, that was better at all the rest (quiet, beatiful restaurant)
It was next to the beach and the big shopping street, which is a plus. But if i knew up front i would have booked somewhere else.

Stayed here in May 2009. Had a suite with pool view on 6th floor room 6003 - no plunge pool sadly :0( do remember though that the plunge pools are filled with cold water. Room was big - 2 bathrooms a livingroom, bedroom and double sized balcony.

I would not consider the hotel to be 5 star hotel & if you go there expecting that then you would be very disappointed. It is nice enough, however and in a supberb location. At the front of the hotel is a whole array of really good shops, restuarants, cafes & mini golf just across the road & the beach is literally 2 mins at the back. The staff are very nice & really helpful

In January 2006 we had stayed at the Julio César Palace for our honeymoon in a suite with plunge pool, it was nealy £1500 more expensive (for 1 week). I felt it was very over rated & the staff weren't great to put it politely.

In Conclusion value for money and service med palace wins hands down... though next time i might try the sir anthony!

Had a fantasitc stay in this hotel with my husband and son and would definately recommend it. Booked the room through bestratebeds.com who were very helpful and we paid a very good price for the quality of the hotel. We had a wonderful room overlooking the pools - which are extensive and fabulous. We stayed half board, which can be a bit risky but the food was superb with a great selection. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

The location of the hotel is excellent, in Costa Adeje which is more upmarket and quieter than nearby Playa de las Americas but with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is beautiful, well-kept and not crowded. I will definately stay there again.

This hotel is in a really lovely location. Across the street is some of the nicest shopping centres on the island and the restaurants are fantastic. What more could you want beach to the rear of the hotel and shops and restaurants to the front.
We stayed in a mountain view room which was lovely. Don't think the pool view rooms are worth the extra money. There is a fabulous chill out pool on the roof top, you have to book to get into it during the day as there is limited places. At night time they turn it in to a lovely cocktail bar. Breakfast lovely with anything you could want. the champagne on arrival was very welcoming! They can even provide rooms for checking out late at a small fee very handy for late flights. Fun and games organised by the pool every day, rooms are ok need a bit of updating but would not hesitate to stay there again. Search the hotel on a few websites as you can get some really good deals. Taxi to nightlife only 4 or 5 euros. Loads of services at the hotel, too many to mention.

be under no illusions..this place could do with a revamp! it opened in 98/99 but looks more 80's decor wise. after saying that i cant really fault the hotel in any way. the location is brill. the best area of playa de las americas, its classy with all the best shops and restaurants on your doorstep. the beach is literally a stone throw away..be careful of freak waves though, i saw a lot of belongings swept away when i was there! keep your belongings on the sun lounger when at the beach at the front of the hotel. the hotel pool is lovely and there are activities in hte resort that will keep you entertained all day. the breakfast was good, plenty of choice. overall would definately go back
