“good food and enjoyable evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

Went to this restaurant on our third night in Las Americas and enjoyed it very much. Initially service was very good, drinks prompt and our order taken. Lamb biriyani was excellent as was the chicken korma rice and naan. Service became a little slow once they had our order and us sat in the restaurant!!! However this did not spoil our evening.
The surroundings were smart and atmosphere pleasant.
The bill arrived and we had to question why we had been charged for 2 korma's instead of one but this was soon rectified. We felt it was very good value for money.
We would recommend this restaurant if your there on holiday.

“Not bad - but watch for Poppadum scam”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

My family of four ate here and overall the setting and the quality of the curry wasn't too bad at all.

I had chicken tikka dupiaza and she had balti. We both had various sundries and the kids have similar.

The beer was a tad overpriced.

But what irked me was they brought over a basket with 2 poppadums in it and some chutneys before we even ordered. Then later after ordering they placed another 2 poppadums in the basket without asking us - and then on the bill there was a circa 7 euro bill for the poppadums, which left a sour taste in our mouth after paying over 50 euro for a meal that would likely cost half of that back in the UK.

I suppose it's not questioned by 'polite' customers and they just pay it. Well I told them to take it off, as I never requested them in the first place and assumed they were complimentary - and they did do.

So overall, an overpriced but enjoyable curry somewhat ruined by their poppadum scam.

“Great Indian food in great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

The food is super here, of course it's good service too, i always find Indians so accommodating and friendly, this is exceptional.
Outdoor seating is large and with heaters too. Its near all the good bars and good nightlife and lots of other things to do, so a must in Tenerife f you like a good curry!

“Friendly service and excellent food”

What more do you want. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Well worth going again. One member of our party has been here on a regular basis and hasn't had a bad meal ever.

“Good Location but..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

Ok they were not busy as it was early evening but the pressure from the staff was bordering rude. Was asked what we wanted to drink before we sat down and then a plate of poppadoms appeared before we even sat. Nibbled the poppadoms and pressure arrived again before reading the menu. Were the poppadoms complimentary? (probably not) so ate them and left went before ordering anything at all. Ate there in March and the food is good but hate going out for a meal that is in anywhere they make it obvious they want you in and out in three minutes.especially when only three tables were occupied. Lacks Management.
