“pleasant enough hotel as long as you dont require any customer service during your stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2011 via mobile

this hotel is quite pleasant in appearance and location is ok, if not a tad too far from the beach. there was an issue upon getting to apartment which revealed we were one bed short due to the hotel being overbooked. Staff on reception were incredibly rude and managers only assist was to tell us to phone our travel agent to switch hotels. Obviously we did not want to spend a day + of a short break doing this so the matter was never resolved. also entertainment was rammed down your throat at frequent intervals throughout the day which for the small outdoor space size of the hotel made relaxing hard going. I would definately not recommend this hotel.

Me, my partner and our three children (12) (11) (5) arrived at this hotel on 27th May 2011 - 11th June 2011 (2 weeks) and havent got a bad word to say about it. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are very spacious & clean, the food is lovely and the pool areas are excellent. The entertainment teams during the day have something for all ages and not just the younger kids and night time entertainment was also good (parrot shows, eagle shows and snake shows etc) our kids really loved it. Although the hotel is a bit out of the way of everything it is only 5 euros to get to Los Cristianos or Las Americas, we did walk it a few times which took us on average 15 - 20 mins. I would most definitely recommend this hotel for famillies we all had a great stay there and would most certainly go back.

The rooms were spacious and very clean.

The food was delicious, different themes each night. Also the food was pre-pared for '' you '' and not just left out, we had carverys every night, amazing!.

The location was more los cristianos however taxi rank outside and las americas is only 5 euro away.

The pool and facilities were up their with the best I have had.

The entertainment was mainly kids shows.

The all inclusive was really good with drinks n snacks such as hot dogs etc.

Fab apartment, fab pool area, fab food..Bad points, too far from any bars and we were 84 steps up to our room, although it has to be said we did get used to it before the end of our stay ..

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Oasis Golf and have had a fabulous time there. The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The food was good and the facilities for the children were excellent.
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing family holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the golf course!

We stayed here 27th May - 7th June. There was myself (35), Husband (33) and 2 children aged 7 & 5. I cannot complain about anything. The apartments were spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff were really friendly, especially the restaurant staff and the animacion team. We were there 10 days and never tired of the food. There was shepherds pie, tikka masala, lasagne, pasta, pizza, salads, jacket potatoes, chips, boiled potatoes, veg, gravy and they had a different roast on every night which was carved fresh for you. I could go on and on. It was the first time ever that my children have eaten the food without moaning that it doesnt taste like home, and the first time we have never used the kitchen in the apartment. I liked the fact that you could choose to eat your meal inside or outside on a veranda. The surrounding area was oustanding with palm trees and flowered borders everywhere (stunning). Three pools to choose from, lots of activities going on through the day. And my children loved the kids club. Good choice of evening entertainment. It is set away from the bustle of the town but only a 20min walk or 5euro taxi ride. Two trips to recommend are the 'medieval night' and 'Loro Parque' - Fab. This is the first hotel we have said that we would go back again. None of us were ready to come home and are still pining to be back.

I travelled together with my young son, aged 8. We booked the holiday through Norwegian Star Tour after being enticed by the photos on their internet site and of course after checking Trip Advisor for previous reviews of the resort.

We were a little worried about the location, which was a little further from the beach than we would have hoped for. Anyway, the resort was located in a nice residential area with a couple of other hotels nearby, one of which I had visisted previously.

The hotel seemed very well established with mature palms and other greenery growing everywhere. Very well tended for as well. The reception area was also lush, in a funny sort of way, with bird cages and plants all around. The 3 big Monkeys playing music, however, although a novelty and fun on arrival, was really annoying at the end of our stay. I think both the guests and the Reception staff would be pleased if these could be taken away.

The accommodation, however, was just excellent! We payed a little bit extra to get a poolview and we got seaview as well as a bonus! We had ordered a 1 bed apartment but it turned out to be more like a terraced house with bedroom, bathroom and terrace downstairs and kitchen, livingroom and balcony upstairs. Nice modern decor throughout.
We had booked All Inclusive as a convenience, as I knew there were no restaurants in the neighbourhood. This was very cheap and although I have seen more choice in other hotels, the food was good and there were plenty enough choice for everybody - even me, a vegetarian.

The pool environment too was excellent, however, could get a bit crowded at times. The staff went out of their way to get sunbeds for everybody - including taking unused sunbeds from the terraces of unoccupied accommodation. Nice touch with non-slippery astroturf around the pool to prevent the kids from skidding and hurting themselves.

All in all, I would definetely recommend this hotel to other families like ours.

Room Tip: Upgrade your room when booking.
