“Brilliant value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

We went on a catamaran trip on 28 January, for my birthday. We booked it the day before, and asked about the chances of seeing dolphins and whales, we were told 99% whales but not much chance of dolphins. The trip cost 25 euros each.
When we went on the trip we were impressed by the organisation. The crew were great and good fun, and they spoke many languages. The lunch was only a sandwich but the drinks were plentiful and you could have as much as you wanted.
The pilot whales were amazing, and put a show on for us. I suspect they were showing off! Then a great big one put in an appearance - WOW!!
I told the crew it was my birthday and on our return to the Harbour they announced it and everyone sang 'Happy Birthday' and then they presented me with a bottle of chilled champagne. Needless to say I wont forget this birthday in a hurry.
Fabulous trip and I recommend anyone visiting Tenerife should do this if they do nothing else.
All in all a most excellent and memorable 3 hours. Money well spent.

“Don't over feed the wild life err passengers!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

Booked the trip direct at the office following consideration via Trip Advisor.
Excellent boarding process using boarding cards - better than airports!
The trip was very good, altough I have to say the advert regarding food and drink is a little misleading - We got a ham and cheese sandwich wrapped in cling fim, and were offered 1 drink and this was not with the sandwich! While waiting to board, we'd arrived early a passenger asked where she could get some food and was told that she would be fed on the boat! I guess the only upside is no one was sick!
The whales experience was excellent, we saw loads of Pilot Whales and up close, got some fantastic photographs and film footage, unfortunately no Dolphins..... We spent a good amount of time Whale watching, and then went to an offshore mooring buoy for a swim - lovelly clear Bue warm waters, lots of sun very nice.
The Captain and crew were good guys, and we weren't overcrowded, the boat takes 50 passengers, there were 40 on our trip and it ws not shoulder to shoulder, everyone got to see the whales wherever you sat, well done Captain moving the Catmaran around to ensure no one was disssapointed.
We were out 2 hours and 50 minutes, and did not feel cheated by the 10 minute under 3 hours.
Overall an enjoyable excursion, well worth the money even if the food and drink was a little short in supply!
I would certainly recommend Eden, and we will be using them again, maybe another one of their excursions next time.

“Great Afternoon Out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

We took the three hour trip when we where being sold this we was told we would see
dolphins whales & Turtles it was a good trip and we did see whales quite a few but no dolphins & no turtles the food was a bit limited to Ham & Cheese Sandwich the drink was a little better with quite a few diffrent cans on offer

we did get to stop of for a swin in the sea for about 45mins on the way back
the crew where quite chatty and they did let my son have his picture taken while he was driving the boat
in all not a bad day out and was hot so made the swin in the sea welcome
I would do this trip again as we did enjoy it they just need to have more diffrent food on board
we booked with them direct and got a better discount than of of a street seller

“Good trip, but book it direct for best price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

We took the two hour trip which was long enough. There are many boats to choose from but we went with this one on the strength of its trip advisor ratings and we were not disappointed. The one tip I would have it to book it direct with eden on the website or through there office, as that seemed much cheaper than those who had booked through the many agents touting for business. Our trip cost 49 Euro for our family of four (2 adults a 9 year old and a 5 year old).

The trip takes you past the fish farms where the dolphins can normally be seen, as they were on our trip. Then going out further we saw a large fin whale from about 50m away. Then we reached the area with the groups of short fin pilot whales which showed well upto only a few meters away from the boat in groups of upto six, affording some good photo opportunities.

Our youngest was one of three who were sea sick during the trip (sick bags provided), but thats no fault of the boat or crew who were very good. The kids were allowed to steer the boat and wear the captains hat for photos which was a nice touch.

If you think a boat trip is for you then we would recommend this one.
