I would like to write another positive review.

We booked on Dec 8th 2007 and received a confirmation the day after. When we arrived at the hotel (March 12th 2008), no apartment for us. It was not a misundertanding; they were aware, waiting for us and sayd they were sorry. No communication was done to the travel agent (Hotelopia).

Overbooking is not reserved to Airlines Companies...

My advice : be careful when you book this 'Liberty Apartments'.

Hello everyone, five of us stayed at liberty apartments for 10 days, and were extremely impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful with regards to suggesting restaurants and directions. The apartment were very spacious, clean and modern offering great services. The apartments came with room service, which was cleaned more regularly than stated. If anybody is looking for a central location, I would definitely recommend liberty apartments. The accommodation is within walking distance of local nightlife, shops, restaurants and transport links such as buses which are situated round the corner. The beach is also within walking distance. Overall, I recommends the holiday, and would definitely go back again.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the liberty 14-21 jan.
The apartments are in a fantastic location - literally a 2 minute walk to the Yumbo centre and maybe 5-10 min walk to the Irish and Kasbah centres, we just hailed a taxi tho which was 2-3 euros.
The receptin staff were really friendly and helpful and checkout time was 12 midday. No deposit required either.
We had a room to the front of the complex which faced out onto the main road, it could be a bit nosy but to be honest after the 1st night you dont really hear it. The sun tended to face the back at the pool area till 2pm and then from 2pm till dark our balcony was a little sun trap!
Banks and supermarkets are only a short walk away,
Food wise - couldnt fault it. Reccomend cosmos restaurant in the yumbo and also bar desire, Its not as busy as the rest but it does good drinks prices till 10.30pm.
The highlight of our holiday was Rickys bar in the Yumbo. Fantastic drag queen caberet - you have to go!
We cant wait to go back next year and would definetly stay at the liberty again!

Stayed at the Liberty apartments for 2 weeks in July. Very impressed. clean, modern, spacious and friendly staff. The beach is a good 15 min walk away but taxis are very reasonable if you dont fancy the walk. 2 min away from yumbo centre and 5-10 minutes from irish centre/ kasbah. My only complaint would be the lack of sun beds due to many people leaving their towels on the beds and then disappearing for several hours. I would not advise eating in the italian restaurant next door as we found a cockroach in our pasta. Cannot fault the apartments .
