We where very dissaponted on the bungalows and staf here!
Bungalosw ar not kleen, and ther was bugs inside! The staf are not serviceminded at all, not helfull! even thou the buglow we had was renovated last year, we where not at all happy with it! I think it was the bad staff that put santa fe down to a big 0 (zero)
They allso sems to have a pollesy to overbook, so bewaer when you book, you may not even get you bungalow here! This happends to some frinds of us!
Terrible!

We arrived @ 3 in the morning the so called 24 hr reception was locked some guy sound asleep with the door locked we had to shout several times to wake him up he smelt of booze doesn't speak English we then find out our name isn't on his list showing on him our booking confirmation he just shrugs his shoulders and more or less say's come back tomorrow we are then left to walk the streets trying to find some were that will let us have a room for the night not very good @ 4 am.next day had to make phone calls to agent he then calls apartments and they admit it's there fault and go back to bungalows and there will bungalow for us and we will be re inbursed for the hotel cost when we they asked about our money back and every time we asked no one seemed to know anything about and would need call there main office to get our money it 4 days and a lot of hassle to get back and the guy @ the bungalows after shouting a little just took the money out of there safe so why take so long maybe they think we would just go away apart from this holiday great

We stayed in the santa fe bungalows july/aug 2007. We were completely disgusted with it, although this was mainly down to lack of communication with our travel agent, the complex itself was poor.
when we arrived we were told we had to pay E100 deposit per bungalow. so between us that was 200 Euros between 5 of us. This was to cover Breakages which is a laugh in itself as you'll find out if you read on.
Room 28 - It was like something out of cell block H. It felt like we were in prison rather than being on holiday. there were 6 foot iron bars surrounding our bungalow. Light switches falling off the wall. The fire extinguishers were last checked in 2005. Front door was falling off. couldn't open any windows as they had bars on them and there were no ceiling fans as advertised. It was hell.
Our friends bungalow also had the same problem with light fittings, fire extinguishers, but also had toaster that didn't work.
I could go on and on and on there is much more to tell but not enough space.
All i can say is that they are doing work to update this complex that's hope they just knock it down and start again!!
This complex is also a residential complex so there are lots of spanish and not very many BRITISH. The spanish that stay there also bring along their pets who bark non stop!!!!!
I definately do not recommend. I never picked this place it was offered to us as an alternative as our accomodation was closed, we were told it was an upgrade. we were told it was a 2key place. It cleary states on the sign outside reception it is a 1KEY!!!

Just got back from a week at the Santa Fe apartments, had a really good time, Close to the beach and the kasbah centre and a supermarket just over the road. The apartments were clean and the beds were really comfortable. There was no air conditioning but the windows and door had shutters so you could leave them open at night and nothing came in.
We encountered a few cockroaches but I wouldnt say the place was crawling with them, we had one in the apartment 5 nights out of 7 but the apartments came equipped with a broom so we just brushed them out. Also we were told that leaving the apartment lights on kept them away.
While we were there we did the jeep safari which was a great day out, 40 euros, lunch was included and the english guide we had was a real laugh.
Two other places to visit are El Gaucho restaurant in the metro shopping centre (amazing food, decor and prices) and Sugar Blue Moon cocktail bar next to the Kasbah, a great low key bar with the biggest selection of cocktails i've ever seen and friendly staff.
Last of all beware of the african women near the beach, they will talk to you and tie a piece of string round your wrist then charge you as much as they can, one of them tried to take a 50 euro note off my friend and if you are in a couple they will try to charge you twice.
