After booking our trip and reviewing here, I decided to keep the reviews a secret from my girlfriend.
We were only there for 8 days (which were reduced to six due to arriving 11pm and leaving 7am), so I didn't want her to worry too much.

It wasn't at all too bad. The staff were friendly for the most part and the place was very clean. The food was okay I guess, with buffets you luckily always will have a few things you like, although after day 5 we ate out in the evenings.

The hotel has a perfect location, close to the beach and the commercial centers and they are only happy to help you book buggy riding or something like that.

The only downside was the large number of Germans there. Living in a town which is swamped by Germans all year, we were hoping for some British people or something. Hence the title of my review. But I must say, me and my girlfriend kept most to ourselves anyway.

We used the vacaction to relax and sunbathe and you can really do it there.

The rooms were very clean every day again, but we would have like some more variation in the tv channels.

Don't book this hotel unless you are an arrogant German as this is definately a German hotel. And if i had been informed of this i would definately not have paid so much money for my much awaited holiday, so won't be booking with media travel again either.

The food was good, but definately not 4*. All T.V channels were in German or Spanish,

There were no tea making facilities in the room, There was no satelite TV even in the bar to watch any football.

All very basic. 2 to 3* if you ask me.

We booked this Hotel as friends had already booked to stay here...big mistake. We assumed (quite wrongly) that as it was rated 4 stars it would be ok.
The Hotel was that bad in terms of food - you wouldnt feed it to the dog.
Great concern over the temperatures the food was served at - the hot food was barely warm, the choices very poor and the quality - well all I can suggest is imagine your worst nightmare x10.
It was that bad I was tempted to climb on the roof and remove 3 of the 4 stars on display - it wouldnt even rate as 1 star.
The rooms were more in line with 2 star ratings and looked very tired and the staff in general nonchalant.
Thankfully we only stayed 1 night as the next day I called the agent we booked with and were re-located to a proper 4 star Hotel the Barcelo los Margaritas which we would highly recommend - in complete contrast the Barcelo food was 4 star, as was the service and accomodation.
Our firends weren't so lucky their agent wouldn't relocate them so they ate out despite being all-inclusive.

We have just arrived back from a weeks holiday in this hotel, and decided I must write a review. Mainly about the food it was awfull, I have never before seen vegetables for breakfast everything was cold with the exception of the soup which was that thin and tastless no one ate it.

The bar and resturant staff could have been more friendly but reception and cleaning staff were spot on.

The Hotel is very clean and well kept but there is a definate lack of atmosphere, needless to say we won't be returning
