5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

Just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at this hotel. Every inch of the hotel and grounds is spotlessly clean and stylish - it was recently completely renovated to a very high standard. The food was very good quality (amazing pizzas) and the all inclusive option is incredible value for money. My 6 year old loved the mini club and the mini disco and there were tears when we were leaving (especially for Giulia who he adored). The customer relations manager Eva has a wonderful, infectious personality and ensures all guests are having an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and I'm looking forward to returning with my family, including our new arrival due in the summer.

Overall, it is a nice indeed, not too big, and in a very good location, however...
There are a few reasons I didn’t give this hotel higher rating:
1). there is no fridge in the room, so you are not able to buy any drinks/dairy products for yourself! This is the first place I’ve ever stayed, including small motels, who doesn’t provide it; I was told you can HIRE one!
2). If you feel like watching TV at any point, note there are only two NEWS channels for English guests! The hotel I stayed last year had a few movies channels (and a fridge), so this hotel is much less welcoming if you are not German!
3). You are also not able to sleep longer than 8.30 -9am, due to very noisy corridors – as the building is round, the rooms are places in a big circle with the staircase in the middle, so the echo is horrible, and you can hear everyone passing your room, especially noisy kids, and people constantly slamming the door! The cleaners pushing chairs & tables, instead of lifting them, don’t help either.
4.) the quality of soap and shampoo provided is very poor, so make sure you’ll take your own
5.) the food is good, but the hotel with a lower rating I stayed last year had better
6.) my boyfriend had his face burned by hot fat spraying by a cook frying food, so stay back when queuing for it, as they don’t exactly look what they are doing
7.) make sure you are staying in block 1, as the other blocks are facing a noisy street.

I think that’s is all.

Room Tip: make sure you are in block 1

Dear Ezantal,
Thanks for sharing your opinion on tripadvisor. First of all I would like clarify some things .The reason that there are no refrigerators in the room is that the restaurant is open from 00:08 am till 21:30 pm with only a slight pause for cleaning. The guest can eat and drink, during these hours. Also the bars, offer cool drinks from 10:00 am till 24:00 pm. The first day of your arrival, you receive an information leaflet at the reception explaining you, how to hire a fridge if you need
The reception, is open 24 hours for any needs. We have 5 English channels in the hotel. We hope to see you again Greetings from all staff Playa Bonita Hotel.
Best regards.

just arrived back from 9 day stay at the above hotel. Really shocked by this hotel. The whole place was lovely. The rooms are very spacious (bit ikea) but still lovely, the restaurant is open all day so no need to rush for meal times, could not believe that they have soft drinks, wine and beer on tap in the restaurant so you can help yourself to it all day, plus of course sparkling wine. The cleanliness of the place is amazing and i am sure that the staff and management must all suffer from OCD because everyone and everything is immaculate. All the staff are happy and very accommodating. Evening entertainment is a bit dodgy but the surroundings are very welcoming. Would use this hotel again

Room Tip: I choice one overlooking pool, very nice

Dear Essexil
first of all thank you very much for sharing this positive and funny comment. All the staff are very happy to have achieved our first goal, which is that our customers enjoy a wonderful stay. You've done a good description of the obsessive disorder afflicting our manager (before I thought it was only my mother) ….But really, cleanliness is very important as well as the food and good service.
We love our job and clients like you make it even nicer.

We hope to see you again in Playa Bonita

Best regards

Returned last week from a 9 night stay with family. The hotel is pretty faultless. The rooms are of a very high standard - very boutique! Bedding was a brilliant white and the towels were large and fluffy! What more could you ask for! The only downside was on our arrival we were given a ground floor room which did not have a very good outlook but the reception staff were very obliging and changed the room immediately. Floor 4 is best but ask for a pool view - less noise from roads..
I did think it a bit much to have to pay for the safe (2.50€ per day) on top of the deposit of 10€ which was refundable. Never had to do that in an AI hotel before.
The pool area is spotlessly clean as is the whole hotel. Water is a bit cold but as we Brits say 'it's fine once you are in!' Angela who runs the pool bar deserves a special mention. She works so hard from 10amto 6pm and always has a smile and a joke for everyone! You do have to be on the ball in the morning in order to get a sunbed - there are very few spots left after mid morning.
The food was very tasty and all the local drinks were very drinkable! We did find it a bit of a nuisance on a few occasions to have to wait for a table of five - they didn't have enough tables laid up for more than 4, but this did ease after the evenings got lighter and more people ate outside. My only criticism of the dining area was that the kitchen staff nearly knocked me over a couple of times in their haste to replenish the food trays. All I can say is please sloooooooowww down before there is an accident!!
All in all a great holiday was had by all .

Room Tip: High floor better. Pool rooms quieter at night

My partner, best friend and I stayed here for a long weekend over the Maspalomas carnival. It's in a quiter corner of Maspalomas and a fair walk to the Yumbo centre and the rest of the nightlife so is ideal for families and maybe older couples.

We stayed all inclusive, the breakfast and evening buffets were fantastic with a varied choice of food to suit every palet. The drinks too were great they make fantastic cocktails in the evening bar. They dont use measures so sometimes you would get a 50-50 mix of alcohol and soda. Something a few of the older German travellers enjoyed a bit too much. This was my one of two minor gripes with the hotel, the bar staff really need to say no when its clear the patrons are very drunk already.

The other amenities were very nice, the pool was big enough there was plenty of sunbeds for everyone.

Our room was beautiful, very clean and with a new fresh feel to it. The bathroom was spacious and had a great powerful shower. Towels and sheets were changed on a daily basis and besides mynown bed I dont think I've ever slept in such a comfortable bed. Now for my second minor gripe the wifi. To some people it is not a necessity but when you are young and used to having a good wifi the one at this hotel was massively inconsistent and when you were connected it was slower than 56k. It would not cost a lot to have a decent useable wifi system installed the one here was poor.

Having said that it should not detract from what is a lovely modern and clean hotel, we would definitly stay here again.

Room Tip: They all have balconies and lifts so there arent any bad rooms

We were booked into the Marieta who offered us a free upgrade to the Bonita. I am so pleased we were! Not that there was a problem with the Marieta, but the Bonita was/is excellent. We're 4 days into a 9 day stay and thoroughly enjoying ourselves.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The food is good quality and plentiful. It's also nice to have the option of eating outside.
Service is really good with hard working, cheerful staff.
Down sides:
There is a fairly noisy road outside the back but not a major problem.
There's no inside bar or communal seating area as such. Again, no major problem.
Wifi good value at 10 euro for one week (15 for 2 users) but slow in the room at busy times.
To summarise, similar deal to other All Inclusives, but more updated, friendlier and better quality than most. I've been to loads before, but this is one of only 2 I would actively look to book again.

Currently still here! Sat outside waiting for the music to start with a cool breeze relieving the soreness of a full day of basking in the Canarian sunshine.

Where to start, what a fab hotel! Came with my girlfriend to this lovely establishment with only a few things in mind.. To eat well, drink well and enjoy a sunshine filled week away from the troubles of day to day life back in England.

On arrival we were quickly checked in and as the all important all inclusive wrist band was attached to my pasty arm I let out a sigh of relief... I was here.. On holiday! Joy!

We walked out of the stylish reception area and through to our block... Block 3. The sun was dancing with dazzling sparkles off of the reflection of the swimming pool.. Couldn't help but let a little cheeky grin sweep across my face.

Our room was large, clean room with comfy beds.. The bathroom was modern. The best part was the shower... Very refreshing. Was like standing beneath a tropical waterfall.. Washing away the dirt and sweat of a long hard days travels on a ryanair flight!!!

Basically.. In a nutshell.. Lovely hotel.. Lovely staff.. Great food.. Great drinks.. Clean and in a good location.

Enjoy.
