Dear holidaymaker, this is the first time i have ever felt the need to try and warn other travellers about the experience myself and my disabled partner had at this location.Upon arrival at 3am we were handed entry cards for our rooms without being told which rooms we were to go to ,there were three couples, after half an hour of hassle with a receptionist ,who either didn,t speak english or chose not to be helpful in any way.anyway they found our room numbers and the 1st night passed .
The following morning we went down to breakfast,if you can eat salad for breakfast every day ,youv,e cracked it,the only thing to eat that i would describe as being of english origin were COLD fried eggs, there were meatballs ,german sausage and salad,we went without breakfast
we tried dinner in the evening,my partner cut into a pork chop,it bled it was so raw, that was the end of our eating in there ,we asked on several occasions for someone to talk to us ,we were ignored, they stood in front of us looked at us like we shouldn,t of been there, and that was the staff .
tea is only served in the dining room in the morning ,if you want a cup of tea at any other time you have to buy it from a vending machine or one of the bars at £2.50 a cup
the rooms were simple and clean ,no complaints there,no english speaking channels on the tv.
nightlife in the hotel is a piano
my partner is disabled, and it says its 100 m from a pebble beach, what they mean is the sea crashes over boulders 100m from the hotel,to get to a sandy beach, you walk along the seafront for about 300m,climb 79 concrete steps at a gradient of about 45 degrees, walk another 800m and then down another 79 concrete steps to a sandy beach
to return to the hotel just reverse the journey, the only other way around the area is by taxi which are quite reasonable, until you use them for every trip for a week.
there are plenty of places outside to eat tho they are very expensive, our average price for dinner for two was 70 euros which broke down into £70
i could write a novel on this place ,if you have children, older people or anyone with walking difficulties this is a definate no no.if anyone in your group has a short temper ,stay away,i travel to europe 2-3 times a year and this was without doubt the worst holiday we have had
