In all I have now spend 75 days in the last 21 months in this splendid hotel over 4 stays and you begin to notice things.
The staff and service are still of the highest quality but the offerings are not like they used to be. Broken teapots at breakfast, the cheese trolley service is now a la carte, in the 3 weeks I was there, I rejected the set menu 5 times and other subtle changes to security that meant people on the far side of the hotel had an extra 150 metres to get to their rooms.
I did write to the directors about my observations but got no acknowledgement.
I might return to this hotel but I am considering staying at one of the more exclusive Riu style hotels in Maspalomas on my next visit.
