“always enjoyable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

We have been to Romeo's a number of times and try and visit at least once on out stays at Playa del Ingles. The quality of the food is always excellent and the service always very professional. We don't mind waiting a little for freshly cooked food.

“Such a bad experience never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

We were recommended this "restaurant", but someone must have been pulling our leg.
It all started going wrong when the waiter arrogantly started to argue about our choise of wine, claiming that his housewine was better. If that wine had the same quality as the food, we escaped the worst. My gazpacho was only recognisable as such by being cold and the badly cooked meat was accompanied by a salad, which seemed to come straight from the Lidl down the street.
All the time we sympathised with the female waitress, who didn't seem to want to be there either.
This really must be one of the worst restaurants in PdI. Even the "eat as much as you can for 10 euro" type ones are better and more pleasant places to visit.

We ate here twice & thoroughly enjoyed it, in fact it was so good we have booked for the 31st Dec.
Food is of a high standard & the service was excellent.

“Excellent food but pretentious service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

The food at this restaurant is excellent and extremely good value but the waiter is always trying to up sell your meal, we only wanted a main course with two glasses of wine, we were made to feel very uncomfortable when we declined pre dinner drinks, then water, then starters and when we paying for our meals we were asked when we didn't order dessert and coffee.
We would have loved to eaten here again as there was lots on the menu we still wanted to try but because of the service we would not go back.

“Very slow service and boring menu”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

From my experience it used to be a nice restaurant with friendly staff.
The staff is still friendly, but the evening we went there the service was awful, with a wait of more than a hour.
I think setimes things can go wrong in a kitchen, but it is the owner/manager who has to turn bad things in opportunity, by for example informing the customer or trying to make the wait less long, by offering an aperitif.
You can not keep your customers tight for hours to a seat for your problems without apologizing.

On the other side I think the menu could also be improved, as it is dull and could be improved with some additional creativity.

Although there is a seating outside, customers are allowed to smoke under a tent, something that can be annoying.
