Room and pool were ok. Room floor a bit hairy with girls long hair. Bar decent prices. Close to beach and bars.

However,I got to my room to find no air conditioning working and had to pay 50 Euro to use it (20 Euro returned on check out). I was advised on return by low cost holidays that "certain amenities are payable locally". The website states " "Please note that certain amenities may be payable locally". This statement appears to me to be on most of their hotel's websites.

What this means, according to Low Cost Holidays, is that this hotel can charge you for ANY amenity. My Hotel amenities were "twin bedroom, lounge/dining area, kitchenette with 2 cooking rings, microwave and fridge, kettle, toaster and cooking utensils, air-conditioning and balcony/terrace” and the “maid service”. This means your hotel can charge you for ANY of these or ANY combination of these however not all of them.

BEWARE, you are leaving yourself open to multiple charges on arrival to use any of the amenities listed in your hotel so you could end up paying more for using your microwave, balcony, A/C or maid service. You cant know what your holiday will cost you until you arrive.

Avoid Low Cost Holidays - in my opinion they are a rip off.

stayed here in october. after reading the reviews on here i was a bit nervous of going but had nothing to worry about. for what we paid for alinclusive it was well worth it the food was fine drinks at the bar were good snacks at the bar were ok. we were on the ground floor room was ok but the laundry room was next door maids were shouting at each other very early every morning so if you get offered room 100 say no.its only a 2 mins walk to the bars & shops & 5 mins to the beach.all in all we had a great time. felix the dj & the bar staff were a good laugh & would sit & have a drink with you.dont let some reviews put you off.

Group of 24 of us arrived en mass - all ages from 9 up to 57, helped with check in at reception which went smoothly. Hotel very clean and tidy, been to better and worse, it is just a bit tired in places. Bar and Restaurant kept very clean, staff constantly clearing and wiping up. Rooms basic but spacious, got kettle, toaster and microwave, 2 electric rings and a fridge, not bad when you are on all inclusive. Food presented well, plenty of options each meal time. Entertainment DJ a very happy chappy, always wanting to have a laugh. Most of resort closed though due to end of season, we visited 26.10.12 to 3.11.12, however this is just as we like it !

Like others have said before me, I was worried about going to these apartments after reading the reviews but I have to say we had a fabulous week there in October. We chose the all inclusive option & it was great. All meals were good & drinks were available from the bar all day (including cocktails!!!) & also served in the restaurant at mealtimes. We had a one bedroom apartment that was spacious & clean. All staff were friendly & entertainment was on each night. The pool was clean & there were plenty of sunbeds. Santa Ponsa is a lovely little resort & these apartments are only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, bars and shops. All in all, a great holiday & if you are looking for a relaxing holiday at this time of year, then I would highly recommend this place.
