Staff are all horrible and the receptionist was always smoking outside and he felt bad when we stopped at the reception because he had to put his smoking on hold.
The room is tiny with less than the minimum you would expect and the pool is from the 1980's and it looks old and vintage with only 2 dozen sun beds. The cleaner knew we woke up late so she always came to our room at 10am, so we tell her not to come back so she didn't have to clean our room. Then the receptionist told us that he will do us a favour and give us some towels! Crappy hotel that should be shut down so someone can build a hotel with good staff and clean rooms.

Arrived to bad Western for eight days and seven nights and the only outstanding thing about this hotel are the staff as they are all nice and an asset to the hotel. The room is the most basic and most dated that I have stayed at in recent years and on top of that there are no amenities and the pool is a bit of a disappointment as it reminds me of the little pools in motels of Blackpool. If you want a basic room and that is all you want then it is an option, but don't expect a sitting area or a socialising hotel with a good atmosphere or anything like that.

Spent a lovely week here mid October. The hotel and staff were excellent , my only complaint was that we were down the side and didnt get much sun and it was rather noisy when staff were empting bottles into the bins ready for the the dustbin men at 5am. Wereally enjoyed it, it my husband and I are in our 70s and found the hotel situated in an excellent position and we have now booked again for April( hopefully in a room around the front )Looking forward to revisiting.

Stayed here for 6 nights recently, the room was old and dated with paper thin walls but for the price, €40 a night for two adults including breakfast, it was a good choice. I had a room at the front but found it very noisy with passing traffic on the first night, the hotel staff was understanding and moved me to a room at the back overlooking the pool which was much better. Breakfast was good and the location is excellent, only drawback was the exceptionally thin walls between the rooms. Overall a very good budget hotel in Santa Ponsa.
