“Stressed out!”

We found the hotel quite inadequate for our family summer holiday as it was almost impossible to relax there. The room was very small and the views were not anything special, then during our 10 nights stay we could only manage to get 4 sunbeds together on one morning when my husband was up at 7am. The beach is 20 minutes away from this hotel and then you have the Spanish square that goes on till 12midnight and we didn't have to leave our room to know what was happening there cause we could hear everything in our room!

Stayed at the cala blanca suites for 7 nights in mid September, check in was ok.
Room was a lounge with separate bedroom and dressing room, balcony with comfy bed but well back from the sea and pool . This didn't bother me or my wife as it was nice and peacefull.hotel is very clean and feels very modern.
Food is good with plenty of choice although dining room does get busy at times and also gets hot if sitting by the hotplates etc, we got further away with every meal!
Drinks plentifull on all inclusive but the cocktails had too much juice in.wine was nice and the beer was too!
Entertainment was ok with something on every night although some nights it was down at the beach bar which was very cramped. The pool is nice but I felt funnelled and cramped when we sat around it . There are other spots around the hotel though for more peace and quiet.
I felt that the area itself on the walk along to santa ponsa had seen better days with a lot of the apartments in santa ponsa looking a bit shabby although the town beach is large and nice, but its a good 20 mins walk.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the weather was great, the hotel is clean and modern but the cramped pool and tiny hotel beach mean I probably wouldn't stay here again.

White washed building from the exterior - not so different to the vast majority of other hotels in Calvia, right? Wrong. Step inside and this place wows you from the first look.

White is the colour on the inside. In all the right ways. Touches of LED pink and blue neon lights here and there break up the white washed feel. It's decor is crisp. Clean. Modern.

If you're tired of dowdy hotel rooms - you'll be amazed when you open your door here for the first time. Gone with 90s carpets and tiles. In with trendy wooden floors and white leather furnishings.

Most balconies have a day bed. Seriously, room wise, this place takes some beating.

Kids will love the hotel run kids club. Zip wire, table tennis, etc. There's even a real pony to pet!

The indoor pool's not the greatest - but in the height of summer you won't need it!

The pool and pool area are clean and modern. And you're literally a stone's throw from the hotel's own small beach cove.

Entertainment of an evening - even in low season when we stayed - was awesome!

The food is great considering it's all inclusive. Loads of choice and our little girl (who's age 6) loved meal times!

British tv channels in the rooms also great for keeping the kids entertained first thing in a morning or last thing at night.

We had a car and just parked (free) on the approach road.

Highly recommended!!!!

Very enjoyable stay at this well run hotel with fine weather in October.
Large comfortable room in modern hotel , good location. Food, good with wide selection for buffet style. All drinks included plus nice coffee & bottled water. Staff worked very hard to please. Nothing to complain about. Will likely return again

Where shall I start, we had been up since 1am so already a long day but upon arrival to the Hotel, the added 2 hour+ coach transfer was totally forgotten and can certainly say that the best had been saved to last!! Wow, the sparkling whiteness of this Hotel and the view even before stepping into the lift was stunning, the holiday had started.

The reception area was gleaming and that continued when we got to our suite, which was huge, everywhere white, bright and clean, a separate wardrobe area (nice touch) sitting room with table and settee, mini fridge, flat screen wall fitted TV with English channels, large bedroom with window, lovely bathroom, big balcony with table and chairs and large sun lounger. We were located on the 3rd floor overlooking the stage with pool area and fantastic view of the sea to the right, absolutely superb, what a start. The sun was also working it’s way round which meant we would have it all day should we choose to stay on the balcony, perfect.

Went down to the restaurant and despite it being gone 3pm (lunch finishes at 3.30pm) there was still fresh food being put out and lots of food I liked, we were a bit concerned about the food as this was our first all-inclusive but that wasn’t a worry. The waiter came straight to table asking what we would like to drink, this was going to be good place to stay. It continued throughout our whole stay and despite being busy these guys were very efficient and worked dam hard but always acknowledged you and I can honestly say they were all extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. We had one night in the al la carte restaurant as this was included in our package, it was very well presented and nice to be in a separate room but if you went in hungry, you may still be when you came out as a fair number of courses but only small portions but there is always the main restaurant next door. It was certainly worth going for the experience and the waiter did an excellent job. The food continued to be superb throughout the holiday with plenty of choice, we couldn’t fault it.

The pool area was spotless, plenty of sunbeds and chairs, the indoor and outdoor pool were just above freezing but a quick dip in the kids pool via the slide is a good tip before taking the plunge :) The main bar and pool bar were always pretty busy and sometimes there was a little wait but wasn’t a problem as the bar staff did have their hands full and you were always going to get served. Full choice of branded spirits, bottle beer and wine so well catered for, whatever your drink.

There was various activities going on throughout the day and night for children and adults which I did participate in as a good way to get to know other guests and did meet some great people whom we shared a lot of drinks and loads of laughs with, Les, Jim & Mark (Aka The Pongus Team) Lorena & Craig to name a few. The animation team lead by Leo with Ovi, Jess, Mani and Christina were absolutely fantastic, always on the go but always happy, what an amazing group of people which the Hotel were very lucky to have. The shows that they put on in the evening were superb, I will really miss them all as such great fun to be around.

The Hotel was well positioned, enough to be away from the lively part of town but not too far should you wish to venture to the beach or main part of Santa Ponsa (20 mins walk). Only a few minute’s walk away were shops, restaurants and bars should you want to get away from the Hotel which we did every day as like to do a bit of exploring but always good to have a fantastic base to go back to re fuel.

The flight back wasn’t until 11pm so thought the last day was going to be wasted. We had a late checkout included but mentioned this to receptionist the day before and she said we were able to stay in the room until 6pm. This was a really nice gesture and finished off a wonderful holiday which also gave us time in-between checking out to have a meal before the coach picked us up at 7.30pm.

In a nutshell, we had an excellent holiday and the Hotel far exceeded our expectations as some reviews were not that good but nothing but praise from us. I think in the summer season when very busy, it may be a little different but can only comment on what we saw which was a very efficient, friendly and well run Hotel. We got a fantastic deal and one of the best rooms compared to other people we spoke to who had paid more so absolutely no complaints about anything. I would without a doubt highly recommend this Hotel and would certainly return in a flash but maybe for 10 days next time rather than 7.

Thank You to David and his team for a long awaited holiday that didn’t disappoint. My apologies for delayed review.

Kind Regards,

Mikeo & Jude

Myself, my husband and 8 year old daughter have just returned from a weeks holiday. The hotel reception is very modern which i was impressed by but that was it. The rooms are a far cry from being classed as a suite. The room was dirty, the bathroom tiles were mouldy, it was just a let down from the moment we walked through the door. I had emailed the hotel a few weeks previous to enquire about an upgrade on which i never recieved a reply. The hotel staff were far from being pleasant especially one of the receptionist. The hotel was in the midst of closing for the winter and its as if the guests are almost an inconvenience. In general i was very disappointed in the hotel. We paid quite a bit of money on this holiday as it was meant to b a really good hotel but sadly didnt live up to its expectation.
