My boyfriend and I stayed at the Magnolia from 3rd - 7th June. We were looking for a hotel more for business travelers and adults rather than a family hotel which this certainly was. The rooms can only accomodate 2 people anyway.
The reception staff are very helpful and speak pretty good english. The hotel is in a good area, very close to the beach and restaurants compared to some other hotels we passed but is also in an area that is quiet and out of the way from the main street.
The room itself was lovely with modern decor, comfy bed, good sized balcony and had an open plan bathroom with a huge mirror and worktop big enough for 2 people to get ready at. There is a seperate toilet and in the room we had there was a room with a bath and a shower. There are LCD tv's in the room however there are only a few english speaking channels, all of which are 24 hour news channels.
The hotel offers room service, however this is not 24 hour. There was also a free service which you could choose which type of pillow you would like. We did not take breakfast at this hotel but I would imagine it would be a good standard like everything else at this hotel. There is also a small gym and spa at the hotel however it is only open from 5pm - 9pm which we found to be quite strange, I also heard that a range of treatments such as massages and facials were available. Lovely padded sunloungers are around the pool which we thought were very nice.
There are internet connection points in the room for laptops but we just used the two computers in the reception which were fairly priced for time on the internet. There is also a hotel pool bar with tables and chairs which you can sit out in at night while having a drink.
Overall we had a very good experience at the Magnolia hotel which definetely lived up to its 4 stars.
