Seriously some people do moan! This is a cheap and cheerful APARTMENT (not a hotel!!), good value for money. Yes it's basic, but honestly ever heard the term you get what you pay for!! It was clean, tidy, the reception lady ever so helpful and nice. It was close to everything, the beaches are near by, what more can u ask for. I travelled with a one year old and found everything exactly as I needed.
Read a few reviews about the noise from the neighbouring hotel (of people having fun- how dare they!) but you can always pop round and join in, or get out of your room a bit! Yes it was a little loud at times but you're on holiday, stop getting so angry, and have a sangria :-)

Room, very outdated. Pull out bunk ket collapsing, so had to remain just off floor level. Top of sofa/bunk also had a multitude of slats broken and never got repaired/replaced.
Air conditioning doesn't work.
Dust all over the light fittings, socket hanging out of the wall.
Beds in bedroom very hard, also the sliding wall to separate from main room was broken, hubby sorted so we could close off the kids.
Dust under the beds, no means of cleaning until asked for a brush and mop. Kickboard missing from kitchen and god knows how many weeks/months worth of dust had been put under.
Bathroom, shower curtain needs replacing as it had been cut...no plugs and the bidet was disgusting.
Balcony light didn't work.

Pleased to be home and in comfort and clean!!! Also, lots of other nationalities becoming rowdy towards the end of our stay. Music is dull and boring that can be heard most of the day/night from the all inclusive next door.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else!

returned from here this afternoon. reading reviews i was dreading taking my 12 year old here and had already mentally planned an escape should we need it. location could'nt have been better, close to bus stop, shops, beach and of course the obligatory tat shops. ok, our room on the 4th floor needed a lick of paint, but there it stops. it had everything we needed, was clean and secure.my only gripe is regarding the horrendous entertainment reps at the hotel next door who spend until 11pm most nights yelling at their guests to sing along!!!!!
the pool and pool area were very clean and well maintained, pool guy was there 8am everyday hosing etc.bar etc was'nt open so it was very quiet in the evenings. everyone congregates in the lobby to get the free wiifii.
we were out most of the time so the apartment suited our needs perfectly. i would definitly go again. it was well worth the price we paid.

I booked a week away in May 2014 for our birthdays, two of us went, and when we arrived we received a warm reception by Christine - she made the stay more enjoyable at the hotel and was extremely knowledgeable about the area and near-by locations.
The hotel itself was basic, we had read reviews prior to going and were concerned however some of the negative reviews seemed over-dramatic as we enjoyed our stay. It was basic throughout and the bathroom could have been 'cleaner' as the floors were a little dirty and some missing tiles. We stayed on the fourth floor. For self-catering we had what wee needed and the hotel provided clean towels and toilet paper when needed.
As we practically only slept in the hotel, being out every day exploring and eating-out, this hotel was perfect and the pool wasn't so bad either.
We'd recommend this hotel for a cheap get-away, the staff and location is perfect. I wouldn't take too much notice of negative reviews for this place, it's what you pay for.

We booked a weeks holiday to salou staying at Salou pacific in May 2014. Before we booked as many people do we looked on trip advisor to see reviews and taking the price of the hotel found it very reasonable, so we booked. On arrival at about 11pm there was no receptionist only a note asking us to ring. After speaking to a very forward male on the phone he informed us that our key was left in a certain place in the reception, which was a little strange but we followed his instruction.
When getting up to our floor we were disgusted with everything from there. From patched up fist holes in doors, walls falling away, bathroom totally disgusting,no where near enough equipment in the kitchen for self catering, overall a filthy place. Seeing this as anybody with any standards would just turn round and walk straight back out. We didn't stay here for more than 10mins and stayed at The Oasis Park hotel down the road which was fabulous and very reasonably priced. Overall DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

My wife and I have just returned from a week at the Salou Pacific Apartments which we have thoroughly enjoyed. On arrival we were greeted by Christine who was very welcoming and informative. Our apartment was on the fifth floor and although admittedly basic it was perfectly adequate for the two of us although it would be a tight squeeze for four. After we had dumped our bags we went to the supermarket over the road (there are two bigger ones around the corner) to stock up on basic food supplies. We did buy some washing up cloths and liquid (nothing is supplied) so we could wash all the cutlery, plates, worktops, sink, bath and shower. Thereafter, all we had to do was tie the two single beds together and we were good to go.
We had stopped in Salou before so we new our way around. The apartments are just off the main street so not too busy or noisy but handy for everything.
We arrived on the 26th April and the weekend was quite busy but on the Tuesday and Wednesday we had the pool to ourselves for the most of the day - bliss!

Throughout our stay the staff were very helpful (especially Christine) and were happy to supply toilet rolls and clean towels on request. Both check in and out were quick and on checking out all we had to do was leave the apartment clean and put the rubbish in the bins outside. - easy.

The apartments are basic but perfectly adequate for a cheap break for two especially if you aren't too fussy. The facilities are a bit tired but work perfectly well.

Overall, we had a great, relaxing time and would recommend the apartments to anyone.

We wanted quick getaway during half term and booked at the last minute. On arrival the reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to pay any deposit and were given nice clean towels and sheets for the kids. Our room was ok the 5th floor and we had a fantastic corner balcony and could see the sea. The room was basic but clean. We used this as a base, the pool was quiet which we quite liked as we pretty much had it to ourselves. The beach was a short walk as was town and the station to Barcelona. All in all a really nice stay.
