“enjoyable stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Booked this apartment for a four night stay, The apartment was clean and very modern. The welcome from the agents could not have been better. However we were dissapointed by the bedroom set up the rooms were divided by a double glazed unit not a wall. You can hear everything and I mean everything. ideal for a family needing to monitor children but otherwise no privacy. Two couples staying here would have problems with privacy. Ideal location the outside of the building is awating renovation and needs it but dont be put off,This is based on 203

Dear Tony D

Thank you for your recent review about our apartment where you had a four night stay.

It was nice to meet you all, and when you want to come back ask us about our other apartments which may be better for four women holidaying together.

Kind regards

Barry and Claire

Myself and my partner have been coming to the same apartment for the last four years, so that in itself say's it all. Barry and Claire are the most nicest and caring people i have ever met and also not to forget the wonderful housekeeper Janice who does an excellent job and if you require anything nothing is not to much trouble. We have just got back from spain and the nights turned chilly...... so a quick call to the house keeper and hey a double duvet was delivered to our door what great service and always with a smile. Barry and claire have made sure there aparment is like home from home and sure enough they are, so if you wanted to stay in and have a relaxing night they are like being at home and very comfortable. The apartment is well maintained, clean and kept to a very high standard in which makes our holiday a good one. Anyone who uses this great apartment will not be disapointed at all very highly recommended. Well done Barry and Claire your stars. The apartment is in an excellent location so central to everything and all within walking distance. A big thumbs up. You would be hard pushed to find an apartment which is like home.

Having read some of the reviews, I was a bit apprehensive when booking here.
However I read good things about the apartments 203 and 206.
Boy I am glad I did!
Me and my daughter booked this to spend time with the family over the Christmas season.
Traditionally a time which is difficult for us was made truly memorable.
On opening the apartment door there was a trail of sweets leading to the twin bedroom and in the room there was some Christmas for my daughter. The squeals of delight with seeing these and the Christmas tree, decorations and goodies such as soft drinks, chocolates and beer for Daddy put everything on a good footing.

The twin bedroom and double bedroom both were comfortable spacious and the living room area was tastefully decorated and the leather sofa and chair comfortable.
Other benefits such as a washing machine (a novelty going home with a clean case full of clothes) and microwave and cooker, made it feel more like a home than being in transit.
The balcony has a table and chairs and an airer which drys clothes very quickly.

The location benefits from being halfway to the beach and halfway from Arroyo, so best of both!
Close enough to Bonanza Sq but not to hear the noise it's perfect!
Although the hotel looks tired in places and there is electrical problems on the upper floors due demand on the supply, this does not effect these apartments and the owners Barry and Claire have done everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, even sky box in the double bedroom!
Having stayed at many places locally, now I have been spoiled and won't stay anywhere else!

Dear Guest

Thank you for your review about apartment 203 you put on earlier this year.

When you booked with us, we knew it was going to be a hard time, but wanted to make your stay as easy as possible. We enjoyed putting out the surprises for your daughter as much as she did finding them, and of course we felt a beer would go down with yourself!

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Kind regards

Stayed on the 9th floor on the pool side, sun all day on the balcony, a private apartment booked via civil service pensioners magazine. Quiet gardens, two lifts, UK TV, washing machine, English cleaners who live there took care of all our needs, good security in the block, no problems whatsoever. Beach and the new marina down the hill, bit of a walk back up but we took a cab for €3 euros. Arroyo village and train station 15 minute walk or 4 euros in a cab. Market Friday morning on Tivoli Park, Arroy, was excellent with sky lifts to the mountain with spectacular vistas.

Ibensa Bar €1 euro a drink, Marylin Monroes bar real class and host Barry a real gent. Maybe there are problems with the block rented flats but we had a lovely weeks holiday in this UK privately owned flat and we went to Seville and Granada on coach trips, just €35 euros for the day. Also saw Malaga FC play, €10 euros on coach from a local bar, great holiday.

We met Barry and Claire four years ago when we were staying in a below par apartment.
They showed us their apartments, and with no hesitation at all, I booked for later on that year.
the difference in the standard was amazing. these apartments are spotlessl, and equipped to a very high standard indeed.Oven ,hob ,microwave washing machine fridge freezer iron and board
even down to a needlwork box.
there is sattellite tv, dvd player, vhs player, varias tapes and dvds, and even blank tapes so that you don't miss Corrie!
Personaly I would rather be out and about in this lovely area.
We have been coming here for every holiday since that time, and consider we are very lucky to have met Barry and Claire.
I think anyone would be very hard to please if they were not satisfied with these apartments.

Well what can i say thats not already been said by my sister Patricia, having stayed on the Costa del Sol for many years I can honestly say this was the best accommodation i have encountered in all my visits to the costa, not only that it was the first place that the owners left tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cans of beer and soft drinks which was a welcome sight after a mornings travelling from Ireland.
Never mind the people who comment on the exterior of the apartment block ok it needs a coat of paint its whats inside that matters and that puts your mind at rest and you can then feel relaxed and just go and enjoy yourself,if the opportunity arose to visit again I would be on the phone instantly to book this apartment,it made the holiday.

We 3 have just returned to Ireland having stayed for 2 weeks in a privately owned appartment 206 at the Europark.Having stayed further up the coast last year in what can only be described as a 'kip', this appartment was like a palace. We met the owners, who had provided us with tea/coffee/sugar/milk/fruit upon our arrival which was very welcome after travelling for over 5 hours from Ireland. The appartment is beautifully furnished, there is every conceivable item/s from a hair dryer to enough crockery/cutlery to host a dinner party!!! Usual kitchen appliances, including washing machine/fridge freezer, electric cooker etc, and plasma tv/video, sunbeds, you name it and you will find it in this appartment. Two bedrooms and bathroom/shower, l bagged the twin room so l could sleep on my own for 2weeks!!! The beds were very comfortable and l slept like a log. From the balcony we had a lovely view towards the sea, and in the flight path to Malaga airport, so we did a lot of plane spotting and watching the big ships, a big cruise ship was stopped for a while one evening, it looked magnificent, but we were happy enough without having to dress up for dinner every night. This complex is very convenient for all amenities, cafes/restauraunts/beach/station/bars etc, also for church goers there are churches of most denominations within 5-10mt walk. It also has a lovely big swimming pool set in mature secluded gardens, and l spent a lot of time in the pool, the old boys are not swimmers!!! I would recommend very highly this appartment to anyone who wants a nice relaxing holiday without any hassle.Whilst l note that someone mentioned the fact that it needed a coat of paint, yes, as it is yellow, and most of the surrounding appartments are white then l would have to agree, but it is what's inside that matters. It is in a very quiet area, and we found the same level of peace and quiet within our appartment. We made friends with the owners of the local hostelry, 2mts walk away, and they made us very welcome, so we spent quite a few hours with them over the fortnight, also with the owners of this appartment who met up with us on several nights for a few lemonades!!!!! Whilst 2 of us are in our 60's and one who is soon to be 71 we did a lot of walking, visited friends in Torrequabrada and Fuengirola, went to our favourite haunt up the mountains-Mijas, and generally lazed about, and ate and drank 10 times as much as we do at home. All in all, a fantastic 2 weeks, many thanks to our hosts for their friendship, concern and for taking us to the airport. What else can l say??? So glad we found this appartment, and if we were ever going to Spain again, we would want to stay here. We had decided we were not going abroad this year, so it was a spur of the moment decision, and so glad we made it. What next year holds remains to be seen, of course if we win the Lotto we'll be back a.s.a.p.!!!! Thankyou B+C for your hospitality etc, it was all very much appreciated, hope you get loads of bookings now!!!! The one thing we really miss is the sun. It is so cold here that we have had to put on the heating even though the sun is shining!!! In conclusion, a great holiday, superb appartment, and just loved it all.

Room Tip: Our appartment was very quiet, on the 2nd floor with a balcony from which you could see the sea, air...
