This Hotel was goood for its facilities such as a large outdoor and indoor pool, gym, spa, sauna, childrens indoor play areas, sports. everythinh u could wish for in that area and u would trust your kids to be safe.

the hotel was very expensive and i mean expensive. the nearest supermaket was about 5 mins away. and u need to go down the hill and turn right. and its by the garage. we never found this untill our last couple of days there which was a bummer.

The HILL. lots of people complain, it isnt all that bad. my opinion is dont rush up it. otherwise ur feel tired and out of breath. somedays wed walk the whole thing and other days we cut through the car park which is half way up the hill u need your room card to get in. once ur in walk right to the end and theres a door and go on the lift.

Hope this helped abit :D

the area around the place is very isolated in my opinion as theres nothing special around it. there a few restaurants which arnt all that good. supermarkets shut at around 9 10 olock and other souvneir shops which there wasnt many of them about.

there is a marina which as more restaurants and is more of a rowdy area and clubs and bars. we never went there as we preferred to stick in the area. however as the shopping was so crap! we got a taxi to fungirola mirror mar shopping centre which is ideal for presents and just inparticular shopping cost us 20 euros there and back. which was good as it was far out,

the weather was great all week. at 98 degrees.

personally the place is definatly a place where ur kids would love it!.

not suitable for walking disabilties cus of the hill.

the rooms was basic. but ok once u got used to it.
they were very small for four people.

oo and another thing which was a downer, was everyone as to pay a 60euro deposit incase u damage nething they keep it otherwise at the end of the holiday u can collect it again so make sure u take extra cash 4 this. as we werent warned about this.!

hi we have just returned from a red hot week innthis hotel. canot fault it absoloutely brilliant .only problem is if like us you get a loft room on 6th or 7th floor when your balcony was a brick wall that i could not see over but i went straight to reception and they promised to move us the next morning which they did to room 436 excellent position, the kids entertainers were great water polo every day my boys aged nearly 7 and 11 loved it .we were self catering but paid 1 day half board not bad value and goodchoice with a chef also cookin breakfast but i liked the retaurants on the harbour and half way down were really nice .only fault would be some chairs round pool in stead of just beds as some people like to sit up rather than lay on a bed like my husband' the hill is not as bad as the reviews i read befor we went and half way up hill with youur card you can gain access through the car park before 11bsome times after if a car is on its way out. would def stay there again my boys want to go now wnd we nly got back last night enjoy it its a great place to stay

“Fantastic Hotel”

We booked two self catering apartments as we are a family of five, we could of had a two bedroom apartment but as we have three teenagers we thought they would like their own space. I spent every morning shouting over to the next balcony for them to come next door for breakfast, but it was all good fun. We did get another key card in the end.
The hotel and the rooms were very clean and all the staff were friendly. We all enjoyed the pools and as you could imagine our boys were never away from the hotels internet cafe on MSN, it cost 1 euro for 10 mins, the teenagers were also happy that there was a Burger King easily reached by the red path at the back of the hotel. The hill was steep but we used the garage as a short cut and the boys were wishing that they had brought skate boards!
We were on the 4th floor and had lovely views of the mountains and the sea, there was lots to do at the hotel including a cinema. We went on the cable cars which worked out at £10.00 each. We took the train to Malag, got the bus to Torreliminos and did the shopping trip to Gibralta. All in all a fantastic hotel in a great resort and yes we would go back.

“Fantastic”

Hotel & Spa Benalmadena Palace

Jun 23, 2008

We booked two apartments as a family holiday to keep the old uns from the young uns! - it didnt work out that way! The grand kids loved it - the old uns loved it also. Yes, the hotel is up an incline from the main promenade but we soon found ways of reducing the climb (entry through the car park for example). The climb to the hotel was more than compensated for by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the apartments, and the value for money of the evening meal in the hotel restaurant! Would we go again - you bet
