After reading some of the reviews on this hotel we were a bit apprehensive about going, but, we have just returned from a weeks half board in the h10 palmasol hotel, they were over booked when we checked in and had to share a suite with my brother and sister in law for one night, they were very apologetic and to compensate they put myself and husband in one suite and my brother and sister in law in the opposite suite, these rooms were lovely, they overlooked the harbour, evening meals were adequate there was something for everyone, but you had to queue most nights, breakfast was lovely. The hotel staff were very friendly and we had no complaints. As with all hotels that are near to the harbour you will find that a Friday and Saturday night can be noisy. Try the Cheshire Cat opposite the entrance of the hotel it was a family run pub and were always made to feel welcome.

I stayed here with my auntie my sister and her friend and mum. We stayed her mid august getting checked in was quick but we asked for a 1st floor room but we were given a 4th floor one and for a pool view. One of the rooms had a pool view but the other room was facing a back street. The rooms could off done with a lick of paint but were ok the bathroom was very small but it did us ok. The room we were in there was 3 of us in it and there was 2 single beds and a camp bed that we werent very impressed about but what made it even worse was that the camp bed broke and when they replaced it was the day before we left. The staff were nice apart from the man who run the resturaunt he was very ignornant. The location off the hotel was excellent very close to the marina. The entertainment off the hotel wasn't very good with only a person singing inside a bar. There was no entertainment beside the pool and you aren't allowed lilos in the pool. Overall the hotel was good for its location but it has it bad points too.

we stayed at the palmasol mid aug 2008...first impresiions were ok...room very basic but kept clean with fresh towels everyday. Very quick check in....Our room was on the 3rd floor above the bar area but as there was no entertainment this wasnt a problem....the food was quite nice,there was always something that you could eat...if you have kids aged between 7years and 12 years i wouldnt recomend this hotel as there isnt much for them to do...the activities list consists of table tennis,aqua olympics,archery,darts and pentanca,the same every day{bit of a joke really}......night time entertainment was the worst i have ever encountered....a singer inside the bar whilst the guests are situated outside the bar!!!DIABOLICAL....please also note that there is no courtesy room so therefore if you are unfortunate enoughh to book this hotel you will need to pay extra to keep the room...the beer is expensive and flat!....would i go back?....definitely not.....

I stayed at the H10 Palmasol with my best friend for a 4 day girls break. I was worried about the negative reviews but re-assured by the positive reviews.
The positive definitely outweighed the negative!The hotel is a 10 min taxi drive from the airport [watch what the taxi drivers charge you....should be about 25 EUR].
We got to the hotel early but could put our cases in a room whilst we went for a wander round.
Check in was fast and efficient when we returned.
Our room was on the 1st floor over-looking a back street which can be noisy first thing in the morning but nothing to bad!
The rooms were basic and needed updating, the bathroom very small, you need to be quite flexible in there!
None of this puts you off the location, the pool area, the bar area and the facilities [has a gym and hairdresser].
We went out every night where the nearest restaurants are a 2 min walk away in the marina area which is beautiful by day and by night. The choice is fantastic -Burger King to Argentinian Steak house[very good!].
Entertainment in the hotel is basic but 'entertaining' for a last drink before bed.
I would definitiely recommend this hotel and would consider returning in the near future.
