“Service a bit slow, but WORTH the wait.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2011

Ate at Harry's on our second to last night, wish we'd have found him earlier. Just Harry serving in the restaurant and quite busy so service was a bit slow. Nothing too excessive (15 - 20 mins). But when the food did arrive it was really worth the wait. Tandorri starters were brilliant, very well cooked and spiced. Main dishes again fantastic. Naan breads i think are fried and the best I've tasted. Well worth a visit.

“Not bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2011

Not a bad place went there for 2 dinners and the service was not that great but not poor either. Food slightly better than standard, less sauce based and more effort put into actual cooking.

“First Class Fresh Food Excellent Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2011

Well worth a visit for great home cooked quality Indian food - so good we visited twice in 4 days. Just the right amount of food to not overface you from the set 3 course menu. On each visit we left satisfied without feeling too full as is often the case with Indian food.

First class service from the owners son who was very attentive and polite but not in your face, the way a good restaurant should serve customers. Meals were cooked and served promptly and were obviously cooked with care and using fresh spices and herbs. The Pilau rice was on both visits perfection. At 10 euro for the set menu the value is outstanding for 3 courses with Nan bread. With wine just under 30 euro for two is tops! Well worth a visit.

“mmmm...... the chutneys and the chicken.........yummmm”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2011

Being an Indian and a good cook and having a delectable taste in food, I usually don't go to Indian restaurants, they all disappoint me with all the cream and butter and overuse of spices. But my friend wanted to eat Indian food so we visited this cozy place which attracted us with its pleasant yellow and brown decor. I was immediately impressed with the first taste of chutney, sauce and salad offered complimentary along with pappadams. The were correctly spiced, sweet, sour and spicy and the salad was fresh with citrus and cilantro aroma. we ordered the lunch menu with chicken tikka masala (which was cheap) and i was amazed it tasted so homely and at the same time exquisite. The spices were just right and more important the butter and cream was not dripping off my fingers afterwards, thats how delicious homely indian meal is. We concluded with a cool pistachio kulfi for dessert on a hot afternoon and left the place very satisfied with a promise to return. I think its a restaurant managed and run by an Indian family, they were very welcoming and friendly. I wished I could have packed some chutney and took it home with me to eat with some pakodas. may be next time!

“Beautifully spiced, fresh Indian food and great service.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2011 via mobile

Have been to benalmadena many times, but this is the first Indian we have had while on our holidays. We were the only diners(it was early in the evening) but I'm sure this helped ensure our food was fresh and the waiter highly attentive. Starters, mains(lamb and chicken) were moist and very delicately spiced. Side dishes all very tasty too. Price? About on par with a decent Indian back home. Would come back again and again just to go through the menu,to see if it is all as good as my first visit.
