Had an opportunity to visit with a few friends while working in the Stuttgart area. It was decided to meet at the Brauhaus. This was the second time meeting here, the first time it was full and had to locate elsewhere. It is spacious and airy with plenty of seating inside and out with long tables, benches and chairs. Timing is everything, had no problem finding adequate seating outside this time around for a semi-large party. Once seated, we’re promptly taken care of by one of the many servers.
The service was timely, courteous, and from what I could observe it appeared the majority of the servers spoke English (helpful). The serving were plentiful, I had the Schweinshaxe (pork shank), Kartoffelsalat (potato salad), a side order of sauerkraut, and a Hefeweizen (wheat ale). The others had typical German meals; Schnizel (pork cutlet) with Pomme frites (fries) and Schweinebraten Semmel Knodel (Roast Pork and Bread Dumpling). The food and the atmosphere were awesome.
